That could turn out to be a crazy scenario. With two people at the same location and at the side of the road brings up all kinds of questions.

Targeted? If so, why?

Incident was at a different location and the victims were brought there?

Completely random?

An associated crime like robbery or drug deal?

Retaliation?

Witnesses in an ongoing investigation? (Which would fit targeted as an example)

Gang hit?

One person at almost any location, sure. Two and at the side of the road????

Things that make you go hmmmmm…..

Technically, the same question could be and should be asked of any homicide. I have probably been to over 150 homicide scenes and I don’t remember showing up at anything like this. Two people inside of a house or business? Sure. Two people at a drive by shooting or something similar? Yes. Two people in a front yard after a family disturbance? You bet.

According to the news, it was over a fender bender.

 The article said they were charged with two counts of Murder but I wonder if they will upgrade it to Capital Murder.
