( nice connotation ) Be patience and you will soon find out when you hook up with Dayton-

Next week you play another mediocre team.  Nederland will be the best team yall have played this year.  Dayton is  very unproven.  I still think Dayton takes 3rd or 4th in district.

We look forward to matching up with BigNed and PNG and being guests of honor for their Home Coming I'm sure. Our offense is very good and proven enough to compete with any team in the district !  (our defense had 4 picks last game) We'll see how everything shakes out but we plan on making the play'offs.

I'm happy Dayton is making a comeback.  The kids have had it rough the last several years

Dayton has one of the best QB-RB duo in the district if you have a weak defensive backfield you will be exposed !

I wasn't saying Dayton was a cremefuff I was talking about the three teams Sante Fe ripped a new one lol. But we look forward to Dayton coming to Mid County. Always a good game . But take it how you want. Before our starting Rb got hurt he was leading district. He will be missed. But it's next man up. If our special teams return man can start catching punts without fumbling the ball we will be alright. Season is young alot can happen between now and then. See yall soon. But right now we need to focus on Texas City.

10-4,  I watched your FBM game  you guys have some giants on your team. - I've been on the board lately rattling some cages just for a little fun. Every other year Dayton would be an  automatic win for our opponents. This year we have a decent team and actually fun to watch. PNG and Big Ned always a class act good luck going forward.

    • but will he be doing contact football drills mid-season?
    • That was an awesome video!  I feel so proud of these young men.  They proved the doubters wrong.  Bellville should be proud, too.  I know it didn't end like they had hoped, but we've been there, so we can definitely empathize with them.  Great season, Brahmas!
    • Meh.. Everyone knows this. The kid that got injured wasn't lifting weights. Supposedly he was hit with a helmet in his elbow. In my opinion the kid shouldn't have been put in that situation. AD should've told the Varsity baseball players to sit that one out. I have no issues with the lifting or conditioning. However, anytime helmets/pads are on there is a higher risk of injury. This AD showed a total lack of respect for HIS baseball program.
    • Maybe.. however..  Many athletic director / head football coach have lost their job despite the athletic program as a whole being successful.. if the football team struggles.  On the other hand, when football teams are doing great but the rest of the program stinks.. AD/HFC still keeps their job. WOS.  Newton. .. programs as a whole were fairly weak during those many years of football power and very few people even knew it.  Or cared. Yet, AD/HFC kept their jobs for years. Meanwhile, I remember an AD/HFC at Barbers Hill lost his job after every program in the school won district championships and even had several team sports (baseball, softball, girls hoops, etc.) making runs at state.  But the football team was mediocre.  Fired. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that perception is reality.  And the perception is that your athletic program can suck as long as football wins.. it doesn't matter how strong the athletic program is if football sucks.
