Sorry your comprehension is lacking.  I was simply reminding you that Vidor has been in 4A before not that our record was better against LCM.  But recent history (past few years, not 20+ years ago) would suggest that if we played LCM every week then Vidor would be state champs!

I’m happy you clarified that. Vidor is lucky to have you!

I will predict that Vidor will not score against WOS when the 1st teams are playing!

Look, just because mid-County has lost their whipping boy, don’t be making absurd post.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Don’t get those guys upset. They are still trying to win a DC in 4a. I think they got a shot in 3a though.

Vidor won one in 5A a few years back.  Beat the previously undefeated PA Titans last game of the regular season.  A result predicted by Titan #1 Fan, Mr. Buddy Garrity.

Good deal. Was that a out right DC or shared? Also I’m just joking around. There were some Vidor fans that said they would run through district because they dropped down.

Jmo, Vidor plays up or down to the competition.  They should have won the DC and they knew that.  Then they threw them Vidor jerseys on the field and waited for the press.  Instead of the press, it was reality, and they had to claw & fight for 4th Place.

@Hagar I looked it up lost to Png that year. Didn’t look like a bad season. I’ll have to say the 1964 team is the best team that has came through.

Yes, Coached by the miracle worker, Edgar Payne.  The 62 Team went 0-10.  Enter Coach Payne and in 63 went 6-4.  Then 64 13-0-1.  As I remember, Coach Payne retired due to health problems.  Miracle worker?  Absolutely.

That would be great to see, too much tinkering around with things last year and not enough smash mouth bully ball. Should have played him and few others both ways last year would have made a difference. But on to this season, excited to see how they scheme and what they can do with this group.

You rang?…

Yup, lonestar is where I got it from and its definitely not 100% accurate. But yeah, the 90's were not good to us at all. '98 is the year we went 1-9, 1999 was Mathews first year and we went 5-5 that season and stunned WOS that year, 21-17. But good luck to your team as well, looking forward to the Silsbee game next Friday!

I I thought it was ok 20 to 19

I can get behind this opinion, 100%. Their head was too big for their body last season, and it showed after the Splendora loss, and when they went back under center. They looked like the team they should've been all season.

That was a shared championship. PNG beat Vidor, PAM beat PNG, Vidor beat PAM. But honestly, Vidor’s win over PaM was huge. Without it, PAM had the championship outright, but Vidor forced them to share and let PNG in with them. Very considerate of Vidor.

    • He actually had a pretty solid year for a sophomore starting in that district. I can assure you, it hasn't hurt his recruiting at all and that will only improve with the move back to the Wack.
    • If Crumedy eventually has bigger aspirations than being in Jasper, every aspect of the program will be looked at when someone interviews him for any job. He knows that. The mindset needs to be that any time someone wears a Jasper uniform, that they're doing everything they possibly can to win. It matters.
    • This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up It's a poll but I could definitely see this as realistic.   From the article: Catholics in the United States have swung dramatically against President Biden in recent years, now boasting a significant statistical break towards his GOP challenger. Pew Research released on Apr. 30 a report exploring support for presidential candidates sorted by religious affiliation. The poll found that 55% of Catholics support or lean towards supporting former President Donald Trump in a head-to-head against Biden. Conversely, only 45% of Catholics support Biden in the same one-on-one pairing. The 12% margin of support in favor of Trump marks a significant shift from 2020, when he held an extremely narrow lead — 50% to 49%. Biden currently leads among Hispanic Catholics with a narrow 49%-47% split, but the close contest marks a major shift rightward for the demographic. In 2020, a similar poll from Pew Research found Hispanic Catholics preferred Biden to Trump with a staggering 67%-26% split.
    • You said a lot there. Truthfully, that is the root of the issue. Who cares what a kid thinks about how coaches are running a program? Kids play, coaches coach. For some reason, parents have this backward in a lot of places and its wreaking havoc.
    • He's already stated he's a huge Clinton fan.
