Sparks did not pitch 2 innings, he only threw 1. Nick Ayers did not pitch any against BC either.

I think Sparks or Ayers makes the difference here....esp. since HJ has already played their ace. On the other hand, you still gotta go out there and hit it, catch it and throw it. Big, big game in that district.

Ayers is doing a great job! If Ayers pitches Friday you have to like WOS chances.

No matter if Sparks or Ayers is throwing WOS has a great chance of winning any ball game, both pitchers have had a great year so far and they will only continue to get better. Hopefully Ayers will dominate like Sparks did and hover around 17 k's and no earned runs allowed, might not be a shut out because of the way WOS' defense has been.

You should swing the bat and play good defense to be able to win a game! Not depend on your pitching to have an unbelievable performance just to have a chance to win!

not everyone has the talent that lcm has. WO-S has already proven time and time again that they can be shaky defensively.

well i do have to say that hj played a good game against hf all the players did well except for number forty who did not seem to be paying attention to the game and more concerned with the tailgaters in the outfield, but even if they werent their im not to sure he would have played any better.

This is a huge game but with ayers on the mound and the mustang sticks coming alive the stangs should pull it out.
