Figured, this could happen as a worst case scenario lol, but hey we got Carter An Gary and kept everyone else...Herman is use to low stars tho, so nothing new

As long as Coach O is At LSU tho, Will be hard for anyone in Texas to keep talent home , and losing seasons didn't help us this year

Like I said before, a coach O was a A+ as far as recruiting goes, + he has good coaches around him...LSU is gonna Be Good

Coach O has always been in trouble for recruiting dirty also.  He doesn't have to do that at LSU, but once a cheater always a cheater.

Just an absolutely terrible day for all Texas schools. Unacceptable to have this much talent leaving the state.

Also this, aggy did pretty well with total rankings, but lots of filler in there with 27 signees.  We should all be ashamed of ourselves...I, for one, feel like I need to take a bath after watching this go down.  Embarrassing...

He's a helluva recruiter.  Always has been.  His problem is the same as Charlie Strong.  We'll see how this plays out for the TIGAH FAMILEE!

If you want kids to stay in Texas, Texas schools must win!!

NSD will be better in 2018.

I got some chickens to bet on it!

I never an on ounce of the talent it would take to be a top Texas recruit. But I can say this, if I were my dreams would be to play for UT/ATM/ Baylor...my home state. I just don't have the desire to pull a Durant and chase the other stars. If these top Texas recruits would go to a Texas or ATM or Baylor, those schools would start winning. Take the easy way out and join the other 30 top 300 recruits at BAMA.

You can recruit all the 5 stars you want, if you don't develop them it doesn't matter.

Different era...Kids this generation have State pride, but they'd rather go else where to show it, specially in Texas, but we didn't help ourselves by having losing seasons

    • but will he be doing contact football drills mid-season?
    • That was an awesome video!  I feel so proud of these young men.  They proved the doubters wrong.  Bellville should be proud, too.  I know it didn't end like they had hoped, but we've been there, so we can definitely empathize with them.  Great season, Brahmas!
    • Meh.. Everyone knows this. The kid that got injured wasn't lifting weights. Supposedly he was hit with a helmet in his elbow. In my opinion the kid shouldn't have been put in that situation. AD should've told the Varsity baseball players to sit that one out. I have no issues with the lifting or conditioning. However, anytime helmets/pads are on there is a higher risk of injury. This AD showed a total lack of respect for HIS baseball program.
    • Maybe.. however..  Many athletic director / head football coach have lost their job despite the athletic program as a whole being successful.. if the football team struggles.  On the other hand, when football teams are doing great but the rest of the program stinks.. AD/HFC still keeps their job. WOS.  Newton. .. programs as a whole were fairly weak during those many years of football power and very few people even knew it.  Or cared. Yet, AD/HFC kept their jobs for years. Meanwhile, I remember an AD/HFC at Barbers Hill lost his job after every program in the school won district championships and even had several team sports (baseball, softball, girls hoops, etc.) making runs at state.  But the football team was mediocre.  Fired. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that perception is reality.  And the perception is that your athletic program can suck as long as football wins.. it doesn't matter how strong the athletic program is if football sucks.
