He was very successful at Diboll when they made a pretty deep run a few years back.

HJ will be good enough to compete with Huffman for DC. They get in the playoffs they essentially get a first round bye being matched up with HISD schools. Then should face old district foes in area round.

Don't know about this one. HJ is going to be fine in their new district but this hire seems kind of strange to me.

All hires are always strange in some way.  The thing is HJ got a good coach that knows the game. I have had some battles with him and his kids were always ready to play.
