When do they normally release the names of the players who made all-district

It is traditionally done when the last team in that district exits the playoffs.

Once each district has completed the playoff run, then the coaches from that district starts making the choices. This is what I have seen and experienced over the last four years.

Actually, the all-district teams have already been voted on. Coaches get together right after district ends and pick the teams. The teams are not released till every team in the district is out of the playoffs as to not be a distraction.

All district selections are only based on district games, no non-district or playoff games. That is why they do it right after district ends.

Well I knew for sure that it was not announced until all teams were finished in the playoffs and I knew the playoff games didn't count, just really didn't know they have already voted, my bad for the incorrect information. Good Luck to all the ladies in 23-3A.

Yes -- all of the answers in this thread are correct. Made 25 of those meetings in my career! 

When it gets sticky is when some coaches tell their players before everyone is out of the playoff... happened a few times and then I have to field questions and it made some mad because I still wouldn't say. Focus on playoffs was first.
