Miles for Lincoln is the real deal.

 McCain is taller than 6'1".

Paris tends to fade in the playoffs against those Dallas teams. But then, who doesn't?

Same for Dallas Carter.  My Bruh in law, a Carter alum,  would beg to differ.

Like stated way too early 4A top ten rankings.

Figure Silsbee will be in top 10 in state. The schedule is tough so my Tigers will lose some games but hopefully it makes them mentally tough as well and by time playoffs come they be battled tested.

That tough schedule will pay off for Silsbee. Better to be battle tested come crunch time.

Definitely think so it's gonna be a great year I do believe so. The basketball players in there now is getting tested and they need that whenever football gets in there and get in groove watch out. In my opinion you have better shooters then last year just good chemistry between the boys right now. Watch them the  weekend they may get down but they never panic and they know where the others are on the court just pretty awesome and its preseason. They have a chance to be really really good.

Talked to Coach Wise (Yates) the weekend he was looking at games he said he expects it to be out of Silsbee and Yates to get to State. He knows he has to be on his game to beat the Tigers he said they looking good already I do know they play Sam Houston the first game of the season would like to make that one if I find out the date. Also was told they scrimmage Atascocita couple weekends back and got beat by 25 plus.

Bottom line a full Silsbee squad will be the favorite in every game come district and playoffs . Silsbee Lite done beat Yates this year so yes couch Wise knows what's coming. The other games this year I" will go ahead a say if they had the hole team right now they wouldn't have any losses and any one that has been to any of the Silsbee  games this year knows this and has seen this...! LMAO #TigerNation :)

Silsbee will be heavily favored in every district game and every playoff game leading to SA.  Not sure about there because you never know what's coming out of Dallas.  They won't be favored in every predistrict game, full team or not, only because of the quality of opponents.  They will play some very talented, much bigger schools in the Fort Bend Tournament and the San Antonio ISD Tournament.  I think they will play the Fort Bend teams closer this year and be competitive in virtually every game they play.  And they will be one of the most battle tested teams in the state come playoff time.

Yes your absolutely right F. B. & S.A. will be tuff but that's great for the team. But my point was from district to San Antonio Silsbee will be the favorite in the region.

I saw the brackets for the SA tourney. Silsbee is playing one of the better teams in that tourney in opening game. 6A San Antonio Wagner. Looks like SAISD doesn't want a little ole 4A school doing well in their 6A-5A tourney. ;)

Color me surprised.  I don't know why they do those things.  Try to seed it correctly and have the best teams playing each other in later rounds.

Is Cibolo Steele in that tourney?

    • Heading into the summer and before two a days get going… what are some concerns or positives about your team heading into next season? I’d like to hear from some H-F people because according to some they are the district favorites heading into the season. I’m just trying to pass some time at least until we get our DCTF magazines lol For Bellville my concern is filling some holes on defense… specifically at LB,S, and DT… bright spots ? Basically the entire offensive line returns that paved the way for 3 RBs to rush for more than 1600 yards a  on the season (2 of those RBs will return as well). With all that said Bellville should still be a region favorite this upcoming season.
    • That’s not a choice, it’s the same thing and equally dangerous.    I’ve literally heard (with my own listening ears) the R County Chairman boast in a speech that “the only time I’ve ever voted for a Democrat was when I voted for Hillary in the Democrat primary! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!” You’ll never guess who is tweeting all over the place about how we need closed primaries this week.  Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.  Escalation of force.  These are concepts that you completely understand and teach.  Whatever we do today, we’ll pay for tomorrow. Impeach a President over something stupid? They’ll impeach yours twice.  Promise to lock up your political rival if you get elected? You can’t cry over somebody else doing it to you… even if you were just blowing a little smoke for the morons.   The old days of “don’t throw rocks if you live in glass houses” has now become “I’m pretty sure I’ve got more rocks than they do.” The frightening thing is that Ds only do it to Rs. Rs do it to Ds and other Rs alike without hesitation.
    • Definitely does NOT sound like a fit for PN-G.
    • No offense, but both sides do it.  The Rs in Texas want to do away with decades of precedent and demand that Dems are no longer given chair positions on any committees in the Tx House. It sounds reasonable enough, until you arrive at a point when the Ds enjoy a single seat majority in the house, select the most leftist speaker of all times, and the refuse to give Rs any say in the legislative process by refusing to give them any committee chairs.     Experience has shown me that any time a party seeks to consolidate power in a legislative body, it backfires.    What I don’t like is a world where we cheer for Manchin for doing his own thing, but also re-elect guys like Paxton and Patrick when they make threats to R Legislators if they don’t do exactly what the Radical Right demands. Our Rep here in Hardin County lost his spot for voting against private school vouchers-his wife is a teacher. He also voted his conscience on the Paxton impeachment.  It cost him his seat…. Not because of the will of the voters in his district, but because if millions of outside dollars pumped into the race from outside the district and even an endorsement of his unknown challenger by Donald Trump himself.    Why do people like you applaud Manchin for being his own man and then vote against Phelan for doing the same thing?
