I was told today that coach Thompson and his staff are bringing up  younger players from the jv team  not sure about this move the mustangs are very very young as it is

It is a long season and perhaps Coach T wants more options in case of injuries or the need to use second string if the need should arise. It gives the younger players valuable playing experience in big games.

Skip if you come too the practices and JV games like I do.  Then you would see why CT and Staff or bring these kids up.  These kids are well deserving to be brought up due to there play.  Why not bring them up to get experience during District Play. Knowing that the Starters want play an entire game during district, adding depth doesn't hurt. CT and Staff game planning for the long haul.

This is nothing new. CT breaks the season down into 3 sub seasons. Pre-district, district and playoffs. Kids are moved up (and sometimes down) based on performance for each.

That's right.  Someone will need to play the last 3 quarters against Scarborogh.

What better time to do this. WOS should breeze through district and first round or two before they should meet up with better competition, so this give the youngsters a chance to get their feet wet on Varsity!

IMO this move is a good thing, it will give the team more depth and it will allow (CT) more options while other players are mending from injuries. Skip you’re the man tho.(smiling).
