OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - WEEK 4

 

Offensive Player of the Week - Kendrick King, Quarterback, Hamshire-Fannett

King carried the ball 21 times for 275 yards and 6 touchdowns, had one reception for 25 yards and passed for another touchdown in the Longhorns' 63-40 win over Buna Friday night.

Defensive Player of the Week - Austin Brewer, Linebacker, Hull-Daisetta

Brewer had 10 solo tackles, 10 assists, 1 forced fumble and returned 2 fumbles and 1 interception for touchdowns in the Bobcats' 30-20 win over Sabine Pass on Friday night.

Congrats to both young men.  Great numbers.  Also, nice to see a 2A in there.  Do to small number of players,/Teams, it's a difficult nut to crack.  Still, it's good stuff.
