Silsbee vs LC-M.... Predictions

There is no doubt I believe Silsbee will be the team to beat this year. Totally a different team from last year and very well coached. The way they are playing now and the way that LCM is playing I can see them putting up 40 points. Then again, at this time of year I have seen coach Crouch get his Bears up for these types of games and I am saying " This time of the year". I can remember going up against PNG the last 2 years we played them and no one gave the Bears a chance. But coach Crouch had the Bears believing that they could do it and had them ready for those games. The improvement shown last week was good but maybe not good enough for this week against Silsbee but down the stretch looking pretty good. I will say Silsbee is good for this game.But just saying don't completely count out the Bears.

Silsbee is obviously built to score in bunches, and I mean bunches.  Tied at 28 until late 3rd qtr with WOS, that speaks on the explosive offense.

They will not always stop their opponent, but like its been said  by the experts, they bend but try not to break. 

When the field narrows their speed and athleticism creates opportunities and Silsbee makes a pretty good point of capitalizing on them.

Most teams will have a VERY difficult time keeping Silsbee under 50 points.  There will be exceptions of course.

Am I allowed any adjustments...??

Mackey not playing takes a very serious weapon out of the arsenal.

Crouch already changed our defense for this game. As long we can work the clock in our favor it should be closer then inspected.

To be honest I Don't think y'all would score 60 points on us. I watched Highlights of Livingston game and there defense looked awful. I believe y'all are good football team but in the past years Silsbee vs LCM games have pretty much been back and forth games. I think its going to be  a good game and I say y'all are the favorite in this one.

LCM isn't going to go back in the spread. We only got in the spread a couple times last week. It would be 3rd down  and 10 yards to go and we would still run the ball. We throw out of the Slot T more now so it does help to keep the defense honest. If the defense covers the tight ends and running backs out of the backfield our qb will run the ball so it can be more of a challenging offense at times. We have to stay out of  3rd down  and long situations to stay in the game. We have to run the clock and keep Silsbee offense on the side line and hope the ball goes our way.

This could be one of those games when it looks like it's all Silsbee in the first half. Then the Bears will make a game out of it in the second half. I think the biggest job for the Bears is containing Silsbee QB the first half. If he controls the game in the first half it will be a big battle for the Bears to come back the second half.

unless you cover the receivers you wont have to worry about containing him. Thomas has no problem throwing it, better off focusing on a pass rush.

Mackey is a middle of the field weapon for sure but make no mistake...

K.B. (imo District N.C.O.Y) stretches the field and I doubt seriously that LCM has anyone that can cover him.

Even with Mackey out there are way too many weapons.

I believe T. Guillory could cover him i believe he went to state last year for track. Fastest kid LCM has on the team and he will not be playing. He's a good athlete .
