The Bulldogs jump on Tatum early and coast to 8-1 win

The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead on Tatum and captured an 8-1 victory on Friday at Central.
The game was decided quickly as the Bulldogs exerted their will early with five runs in the first three innings.
An RBI double by Austin Fitts, a wild pitch, and a groundout by Dalton Bennett during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Bulldogs.
Fitts went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Bulldogs.

Cayne Ueckert got the win for the Bulldogs thanks to seven strikeouts. Ueckert allowed no earned runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Hambright ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked eight and struck out three.
The Bulldogs piled on two more runs in the top of the third. A bases loaded walk scored Ben Stover to start the scoring in the inning.
The Bulldogs added three more runs in the top of the fifth. A error scored Fitts and Josh Justice for the inning's first run.
