WOS Mustangs vs Sinton Pirates

Last time Sinton played a team from our area it was in this round back in 2001 against Bridge City. They ended up playing at Kyle Field. Could end up being the same type thing, go play somewhere way out of the way because they can't agree on a halfway point site. Halfway would be south / southwest houston. Stadiums in that area that would even come close to holding a game like this would be:

Distance between Orange Texas and Sinton Texas is 300 miles.  Angleton Texas is 152 miles from Orange. 300-152=148 for Sinton fans to travel. Angleton’s stadium was built in 2009 open in 2010, so maybe this could solve the distance thing. Who would be petty over two (2) miles. The name of the stadium is Wild Cat Stadium.  Just trying to find a median. That would also bypass construction maybe, I haven’t been to Angleton lately.

Sinton probably wants to play in the Gulf, might give em an advantage by using natural resources to slow down the overall speed of WOS. ;)

Just wondering, are we all just guessing about time and place or has anyone contacted either Coach and asked directly what the hold up is? I agree with badndn, this IS taking too long. It is the Coach's  or the venue itself? I cannot believe that the venues are taking this long to get back with either coach.

I live in anglenton the stadium is nice and big dont let pictures fool you. Hopper in Freeport is nice also. I'm attending this game either way.

I have heard one of the hold ups is getting a response from the stadiums that are on the list. So chill out it is not games being played by schools. Until contracts are signed nuttin is final for release.
