Not the Crosby game I expected.Looked early on like game over then pass sailed high in the wind over wr right into Ozen defenders hands for a pic 6 & game momentem swing w/Ozen getting some great field position then couldn't convert into points. Why was #25 Randle not used often I'll never know.Crosby came out the tunnel 2nd half and went on the attack both ways #34 lb had some big stops on defense,#24 had a real good game as did Larkin#6=game over.Congrats, talked w/several Dayt coaches & after the game met some Crosby Coaches from the press box.Good luck Coogs next week,we gonna take em 1@ a time,King you man up next.

One down, 3 to go. You getting hungry? For what it's worth, this was the game that was least likely to feed me. The margin was about what I expected.

What is wrong with croa by center??? The snaps were high all night

The Qb tells you where the ball going every play.... he stares at the reciver who is about to throw it to

Crosby won't see round 3... I just don't see no 9-1 team tonight

Wow, really. A newbie jumps on here after seeing one game where the wind was a factor and the snaps were high at times, but here's a little insight fella. Just about every high school QB looks down receivers as they go thru progressions and I guess all of the sudden your Nostradamus predicting Crosby's playoff run. Let me guess you must have been an All state center that snapped yourself the ball at QB then checked off receivers and threw the ball to yourself for the game winning TD to advanace your team to the 4th round of the Alaska State playoffs where you played a bunch of Inuits. Keep hatin' on Code Red as they now will probably have at least 8 if not 9 days to prepare for Calhoun or Marshall and with one of the best coaching staffs in the State I like our chances. It's easy being a fair weather fan cause like in poker you never have to go all-in, but for the majority of us TRUE supporters we're all in and just going along for the ride. So take your shots from the cheap seats and we'll just keep truckin' along. BTW, the last time I checked this is the Texas high school playoffs and every team has worked hard to get here to the second season, so whether you win by 40 or by 1 you still advance. There is no such thing as an ugly win from this point forward. Alright King let's take care of business and make Abshier Stadium your house tonight as 21-5A continues its 2014 dominance over them boys east of the Trinity River... 21-5A takeover has just begun.....

Had the pleasure of meeting Mr Buddy G and Liltex at the game last night. All of the banter on here makes for a lot fun, but these guys watch a lot football and I'll see you guys around some time. Not the PNG Dayton game though, I'll be on the other side. Got to wear some more socks though, my feet are still numb from night.

Ok 21-5A's #2 team beat 22-5A's # 4 team. Good win Crosby and good luck the rest of the way. Suggs hasnt run Randle ALL season like he should. Makes me wonder if he had something against the kid. And don't talk about Ozen's band because the band police from HJ will show up.

I've wondered all season why #25 Randle didn't get more touches.  The only explanation that makes sense to me is that maybe the coach is preparing the younger RB for the next 2 seasons.  Not saying I agree with that approach but it's not my job that depends on his success the next year or two.  Do I think Randle should have been the feature back this year?  YES!  Does it make any sense why he was not? NO!  Probably only a few people that could answer that question and I'm not one of them.

Great job making the playoffs this year Ozen.  It was a good season.

What people don't understand when bashing Crosby is how young they are. #24 is a sophomore. #21 is a freshman. 34, 22, 40, 1, and 27 are all coming back on defense. 77, 12, 58, and 17 are also coming back on offense. Remember...Crosby was supposed to be like 5-5 or 6-4 this year according to "experts" on here because they lost the twins and Singleton. This team has not peaked yet.

Crosby's defensive front is legit, I was impressed by them. They adjusted in the 2nd half and made it hard for Ozen to run and pass. For the Panthers to have a chance at winning, they had to get breaks and have Boyd throw like he did last week. Ozen got breaks, but the passing game definitely wasn't close to last week. Crosby's defense has some hitters too. They had some late penalties which isn't a good look, but it didn't overly affect them tonight. If they play FB Marshall with that cornerback who can neutralize Larkin, that will give Crosby's offense trouble.

All in all Crosby is good and was definitely the better team tonight, but they'll have issues next week. But Ozen fought and don't have anything to be ashamed of.

Agree on Crosby's d-line. They wear people down all night. Ozen gave up at least 5 sacks in the second half. Crosby uses stud receiver #6 in the slot so not sure if FB Marshall would put their stud corner specifically on him. And the way Ozen's safeties were up at 12-14 yards all night, I thought Crosby could've attacked the seam even more.

No offense sir, but your article in the Enterprise incorrectly states that Ozen got a pick 6 in the 4th quarter. Makes the rest of that paragraph confusing.

I was thinking the same thing about this so called stud Corner but try to stay out of certain conversational topics, but I will address other topics when it comes to defending them Cougars, lol...

I hope the refs got an escort back to the Triangle. Good game Coogs and Panthers. Boyd was a stud. Kid got knocked around. Crosby gave up 2 offensive TDs to Ozen on the night. That Ozen pick 6 was just weird luck but the kid was in the right place. Anyway, Crosby still hasn't put a complete game together. Alright Dayton, King and K Park...you are up.

Crosby put a complete game together when they played Dayton.
