Beaumont Ozen 34 Goose Creek Memorial 28/Final

It's do or die time as the remaining playoff spot in 22-5A comes down to tonight's battle between the Beaumont Ozen Panthers and the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots at Stallworth Stadium in Baytown, kick off at 7pm. Ozen (3-6, 3-3) defeated Baytown Lee last Friday 35-25 to stay in the playoff hunt. GCM (4-5, 3-3) did the unthinkable and stopped Nederland's district win streak at 29 games by taking down the Bulldogs 57-56 in 2 OT. This sets up this "play in" game as the winner will qualify for playoffs and loser will end their season. This game also has other interests as well as this game will determine what division Nederland will play in the post season and also will determine what seed Beaumont Central will have in Division I and what seed PN-G will have in Division II. So lot's riding on tonight's game!!

 

 

Our broadcast will start at 6:45pm with kickoff scheduled for 7:00pm. Mike Sanchez and Dennis Sedtal will provide all the play by play and color commentary.
