Watched the kid pitch today against San jacinto college for the Rangers scout team and he did a fantastic job. 1 inning 2ks and a groundout to second.

And I know he is not setx anymore, but ethan franklin pitched 2 innings with 4 ks and 1 unearned run. Shugart didnt allow a hit.while franklin gave up an infield single

In Houston, you better have about 3 or 4 kids that throw lower 90's because that's what you will see on a daily basis.  Memorial will win the district, and Northbrook will probably finish in the top 4.  Weak district outside of Memorial.

memorial doesn't even have 1 throwing 90. Oak ridge may have 2 other than that no high school in houston area has more than 1 or 2

You must not watch much baseball around the Houston area lol there is some great talent. But a 90mph fastball is a special thing on the highschool level. I'd be willing to bet that Ethan will have the strongest arm in that district. Houston Memorial will win it because their lineup is stout, top to bottom. But Ethan Franklin is looking at 1st/2nd/3rd round come the MLB draft. I'd be willing to bet you can count on two hands how many of those there are in the Houston Area.
