Read today that LU may have the inside track on getting Chris Harris (2015) to commit to LU. Harris  had previously given a "verbal" to Texas A&M. Harris is about 6'9" or so.

Ok....I will bite.....what is wrong with this situation for him to "choose" Lamar over A&M?
I would love for this to be just because he wanted to go to Lamar....just find it hard to be true

A&M basketball has been pretty terrible under Kennedy, but I would still be surprised if they were losing players to Lamar without some extenuating circumstances.

LOL!!! Yep, I didn't make it clear that he had already de- committed A&M several months ago. I haven't seen the other kid play but its all coming together.

A&M lost one (actually two)of their coaches who had built a relationship with several players in the Houston area. Plus, some of the A&M alums want Kennedy gone.

Per his twitter account,Nic Garth Cy-Lakes High & Houston Hoops sharp shooter has verbally committed to Lamar University. He had other offers from Univ.of New Orleans, UT- Arlington and UNC-Ashville. The kid can shoot.
