Best football program in Texas making moves again

Recommended Posts

This is Baylor's conference record since Briles has been there. I guess it doesn't take much to be considered "The Best Program in Texas" by some

2008: 2-6
2009: 1-7
2010: 4-4
2011: 6-3
2012: 4-5
2013: 8-1

Were they able to have a 7th place finish, banner year though?

C'mon Mack! You Aggies are getting a little thin-skinned now. Remember that we are talking about BAYLOR! A school that has been in the shadows of almost every team in every conference they've ever been in. A small school that kicked some butt last year and produced a Heisman winner the year before. As I said before, Baylor may or may not be the best program in the State right now, but you can't knock what Art Briles has done. Give the man, and Baylor a little credit here!

I do give Briles credit. He's had 1 really good year last year which is impressive at Baylor. 3 years ago when RG3 won the Heisman he lost by 4 TD's to a team coached by Mike Sherman.

I've said all along if Texas would have gotten Briles they would be a powerhouse again. He's one of the best offensive minds in the country. Instead they ended up with Chucky.
