KPFAN68
KPark vs. Crosby was a great game tonight. Unfortunately KP came out on the wrong end. Final score 2-0. #10 and #15 went a combined 1 for 6 tonight, I think. Crosby got a couple of timely hits. Kingwood Park left the bases loaded twice. KP was playing for a tie for third place, so we really had nothing to lose and everything to gain. KP will take fourth place and it will be our first trip to the playoffs in school history. Good luck to all of the 19-4A teams. Let's all represent our district well!

spm075
I just heard the Vidor/Kingwood Park series will be at Barbers Hill on Friday 25th. May just be one game instead of series also.

usedtobe33
No doubt that BH probably has a 90% chance of going 14-0 in district. Dayton is capable of beating BH on any given day if they bring their A game. However, BH is the top team here and should continue to roll (but not past the 3rd round). Eazy, you must have taken the same Statistics course I took in college.. It was my only "C" in college.. my instructor didn't speak English! 90% chance huh? You pulled that out of your backside just like every other time you open your mouth on this forum. That karma monster is about to jump on you just like last year with all your predictions about 18-4A... Just let the girls play, your wisdom is not necessary. Good luck to all the teams entering the playoffs. As most of the older boys will tell you, in order to get to Austin you have to have a lot of talent and a little bit of luck. Starting next week any team can win State, that's why they play it off.
Eazy
I agree any team can win it. Look no further than last year when #4 seed Lewisville won the 5-A title.
3n2
No Lewisville was legit. Pitcher just was hurt during district. No one from there was surprised at their success.

Eazy
Why would BH not make it past the third round? It was just a joke. Barbers Hill has had great teams, but has lost in the 3rd round each of the last 3 years. Montgomery, LCM, and Elgin have taken them out of the playoffs. This very well may be the year they move on to deeper rounds. Both Magnolia schools will likely get a shot at knocking them off by the 3rd round, but BH will be the favorite. 7mary3
Gotta get past Dayton first. Any team can be beat on any given day, ESPECIALLY in softball. Dayton gave BH fits & one pitch would have evened the series for the yr. Willis beat the invincible Montgomery this yr etc etc.....Never know, I like our chances. Pulling for my 19-4A.
