5GallonBucket Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Anybody know anything about Stafford? Quote
zebra1 Posted February 14, 2014 Report Posted February 14, 2014 19 and 5 lay ups not a whole bunch of three point shooters Quote
zebra1 Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 HF vs hj next winner vs powerhouse lavega Quote
Lazeek Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 HF keeps refusing to flip with HJ. Trying to avoid a Monday night game from what I hear if HJ wins the flip. HJ wants to play Monday. HJ coach was at HF game Friday night to flip, and HF coach left without flipping. RaiderRed30 1 Quote
passingthru Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Seems to me HF is district champ, higher seed - they should get to play when they want to...... Quote
AHUDDLESTON Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Not the way it works. If can't agree, flip. Probably play at Silsbee or BC? Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Not the way it works. If can't agree, flip. Probably play at Silsbee or BC? I heard the HF coach wanted the Montagne Center. Quote
Riding Solo Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 I heard the HF coach wanted the Montagne Center.probably bring in a bigger crowd than the Lamar games. :) Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Why does HJ want a Monday game? To be free to support their boy's team? Quote
bleachersitter Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Game Tuesday 7 pm @ Lamar. Assuming Montagne. Go Horns! Quote
5GallonBucket Posted February 17, 2014 Author Report Posted February 17, 2014 There is a reason the HF coach refused to flip after the Stafford game. I'll put it simply: The HF coach has his player's "back". HJ coaches acted childish at the all district selections. Quote
5GallonBucket Posted February 17, 2014 Author Report Posted February 17, 2014 it is at Montagne Quote
bobbymcgee Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 I think the HF coach wanting Montagne will come back to bite him. HF is more shooting dependent than HJ so the depth perception at a place like Montagne which is not like a HS gym will bother HF more. I think the edge goes to a physical athletic team like HJ in this one. Quote

5GallonBucket Posted February 18, 2014 Author Report Posted February 18, 2014 i would love to hear more about this….. cant give too many details until all teamsare out of playoffs. Answer this: hf goes undefeated and wins district..... should there be any all district awards awarded to any HF players? Quote
Lazeek Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 Just because you win district does not mean you have the District MVP, Defensive MVP or Offensive MVP. I can tell you there is not a better player than Kesha Broussard in District 21-3A. And she did it with a bad shoulder all season!!! Quote
basketballlove Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 [attachment=3:Screen Shot 2014-02-18 at 11.49.05 AM.png][attachment=4:Screen Shot 2014-02-18 at 11.48.50 AM.png] HF had the flip planned it shows in the tweets from one of their players, and got what they wanted. This is going to be one of the best games to see, both teams are equally matched. HF and HJ both have their work cut out for them Quote
HFfan5 Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 The real question is why we have people posting tweets from student athletes on this page?? Quote
bigblue1617 Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 without broussard hj would be 0-12 but hf should win easily Quote
Callaway7 Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 43-27 hamshire fannett. Good job horns. HJ was well coached and had a good gameplan. They just didn't have the players to contend the whole game. Quote
