Ya nobody wants to ump your games. Ironically a dude who retired because of people in Orange County came out as a favor to do it. In 5 years every umpire left will go do a game where he doesn’t have to deal with the stupidity every pitch. Everything about Orange County leading with bc is miserable and every ump hates.

If the original call was foul. You gotta go with foul.

The only person responsible and can actually make the call is PL. He had a brain fart didn't setup in the right spot. On a tag you have to wait till the play finishes such as possible dropped ball. You're not immediately looking elsewhere on the first touch.

I'd say politics for football, fans are barely noticed. Baseball is no doubt fans. Natural disasters are horrible not borderline pitches called strikes.

Just because he steps out the box doesn't mean batter caused balk. Be about the same as a batter putting a hand up to call time and not granted.

Is he saying batter didn't attempt to get out the way?

So moral of the story thank god for officials cuz then who could you blame 10 runs ,errors, baserunning mistakes, strikes swinging, groundouts, flyouts, missed signs, and most importantly all the hits by the other team on.

If you leave the dugout or your defensive position to go into a technically it's grounds for ejection. But usually needs an actual fight. Takes more talent to keep people in the game than to dump em.

Might've had him on the plate. But you have to have both feet completely in box at the time of the pitch.

Technically half can't end on accepted penalty but time is never put back to prevent no more than one play unless another penalty happens.

Houston chapter guys new silsbee coach who came from Houston wanted them.

As somebody who has officiated in multiple chapters there's good officials and bad officials in every chapter. Lumberton bashed some Houston guys from last week pretty well. Difference is lot of chapters have more guys enter the chapter to choose from. Feel free to join we could use more guys wanting to put the best product they can on the field.

No scrimmage kicks and passes treated differently. If the ball were to get partially blocked but have enough to go past the Scrimmage line and bounce backwards and hit somebody behind the line then it could spotted there. It has to clear the line of scrimmage to qualify.

Yes because the ball never crossed the line of scrimmage to qualify it as a punt.

It's a new rule and most high school officials have had about 30 days of live action to change how they react to that situation for years. That's what non district is for, for all involved to get it right for district. Also saw that play was correct call.

Well the Houston crew y'all had should've had 7 guys so they should've been quicker. depends on the speed of the officials but also if ball goes out and the teams ball boys aren't paying attention or slow getting a new one in can hinder.
