badndn
Obvious that they dont do a lot of research. New Caney has both pitchers back??? I watched Potter pitch for San Jac in October! Who is the "Powerful LCM transfer"???

KPFAN68
I think NC had a pitcher out with a knee injury last year, but not sure on that.
Eazy
I'm really confused how New Caney starts at #7. Is this the 2014 poll? 6 returning starters? They had to have lost 5-6 Sr's that absolutely carried that team last year. Their catcher and top pitcher were two of the best. Also, didn't they lose the 1B and 3B? I've already predicted that they don't make the playoffs this year, yet this poll has them ahead of Barbers Hill. Good luck to New Caney and I wish them well, but something seems to be amiss. badndn
BH allways starts the season ranked way too low. They lost a couple great players, but that core group are now Seniors and they added some outstanding Sophomores this year. If the Hill doesn't get to Austin this year it will have been what most in the Softball community consider a dissapointment for this extremley talented group of Seniors to have never gotten there. i for one thought they would have won a title already. Shows you just how difficult it is to get to Austin and what an incredible feat Lufkin Hudson pulled off last year by winning back to back. Go look at the State Champs going back the past 6-7 years in each class and you will see no repeats except Hudson.
Fracc
LCM does have a transfer who was not eligible to play last year. She played awesome Saturday night.
