  1. Isn't the rain suppose to be over by when the games start. This actually helps the passing teams due to it is easier to keep your footing when you know where you are going ie. pass routes. They are able to change ball between every play. It becomes a factor on offense in possibly causing more fumbles. On the other side it makes tackling a little more difficult too. All that said does it change the game....yes, but I do not think that it changes who will win any games.
  2. There are fans from every school that talk trash even PNG. If you have read this board you would know that. I myself do not talk trash. We all support our teams, win or lose I will always back the Pirates. I expect a hard fought enternaining game tomorrow, you should do the same.
  3. It is not very smart for those kids to donate blood and then practice football but they are kids and the coach knowing that there was going to be a blood drive should have addressed this issue before hand.
  4. The posts ya'll were replying too, were from the beginning of Sept end of Aug. We all know sveral things have changed since then.

  6. Thomas from EC has to be considered for offense too.
  7. I assure you Vidor will not be taking anyone lightly. Vidor will be ready to play. It will be a close hard fought game.
  8. Defense decides this game. From what I have seen, Dayton's defense is better than Central's.
  9. That's what you are hoping anyway.
  10. How about the 3 swinging gate plays Vidor ran in the 3rd. That was totally unexpected. Who knows what they have in store for next week.
  11. IMO... PNG and Ned have the hardest scheduels remaining
  12. Lumberton already has 3 losses. They will have to lose 1 more.
  13. For Vidor to make the playoffs, Lumberton and Nederland would have to lose another game.
  14. Lumberton and Vidor still aren't out of it. PNG and Ned still have to play Dayton, This should give both of them 3 loses. So, looking at the scheduel you would have to give the edge right now to LCM.
  15. Never know these things can come down to point spread.
  16. Wow, what a great game. This year I have seen 3 of the best high school football games! Unfortunatly we have been on the wrong end 2 times. Anyway, it was a hard fought game both ways.
  17. Oh yes, my fishing camp is right outside of Hemphill.

  19. I saw scouts from New Mexico State and San Jose State at the Vidor/ Nederland game. Not sure who they were there for, my guess would be Mosley.
  20. Yes, it is Vidor's Homecoming.
