The two teams that I remeber the most are Jasper and LaPort. Jasper was always the first scrimmage, they weren't the biggest but they were strong and knew how to lay a lick. LaPort was nasty, they were big and you knew you were going to get hit just didn't know from where or when( during and or after the play), and you never wanted to be on the bottom of the pile with them.

I was waitting for someone to mention Vidor.

There isn't anything wrong with the wing t, it will work. It just takes some time, remember this is a new offense for these kids. Each week there should be improvement and hopefully it will be clicking when district starts.

Wow, I don't think I have seen clutch hitting and the Astros in the same sentence this year.

I do not know what Liberty is running but the last I knew thewing-t is an option formation. You can definatly run other schemes out of it, but primarily it is an option offense.

After watching both games, I was under the impression that Penn State was able to hold somethings back, due to the weaker opponent. I do not believe ND was able to do the same.
