  1. With the spread offenses of today, teams can score on 1 play from anywhere on the field. So, with a ball controlling offense and 3 yds a pop, I could see it...
  2. Chop blocking? I thought that was illegal? Actually it is leagal inside the tackle box with in 3yds of the line of scrimmage. I have been to 2 games this year and haven't seen this used though, they do cut block..

  4. Not that it matters one way or another but Vidor did beat Central @ "The Babe" 17-14 in '04... Just wanted to get the facts straight.

  10. I heard that Vidor's spring game is going to be Tues night.
  11. He will help the Yankees, not enough to make the play offs, but it is a big improvement over what they have.
  12. The Astros don't need him as bad as the Yankees do. Starting pitching for the Astros has been good enough to win if they start hitting.
  13. I say release Miller, move Wandy to the pen as the lefty, put Albers as the 5th starter and shop Ensberg around.
  14. That's Dennis Green's rant about the Bears. Not sure what it is doing here though???
  15. The question now is, what do they do when Rick White comes of the DL? My thoughts are to release Trever Miller and stay with a short pen, which would leave them without a lefty in the pen. Not sure what the solution is, I just hope they don't send Pence back down.

  17. They left 13 men on base today including the bases loaded 3 innings in a row, including a man on 3rd with less than 2 out twice- they have to get those runs home.
  18. I am a fan of both teams, but I still think that the Astros will have a better record. The Astros pitching has been adequate with a ERA of 4.2 just above the league average of 4.11. While the Rangers ERA is 5.33, no reason to expect the Rangers pitching to improve. Also, as poorly as the Astros are hitting at .241 the Rangers are at .234. These reason plus the fact that I believe the Angels, and the A's make the schedule for the Rangers more difficult.
  19. No surprise there. He and Wood are damaged goods. Neither one of them have shown the heart to come back from the injuries they have had.
  20. 6-1.... Need another big come back tonight. Wandy just doesn't have it tonight.
  21. I was flipping through the channels the other night and found the Rangers on channel 15 (TW). It's only on when the games are on. I am not sure if they will show the Rangers when the Astros are home but tonight makes the 4th I have seen. Just letting other baseball fans know.
