  1. I was sitting next to my good friend John Falgout last year when his son John Michael hit a home run during his last at bat and than saluted when he touched home plate. I was next to Donnie Fisher yesterday, as I was for all of our games this year when Josh hit a beautifull single to right field to keep our 7th inning going just a little longer. Time will tell how many more at bats Josh has but we know that was his last High School AB. I watched as aregueably the "toughest" kid on the team cried in his Dads arms who was also crying, when he Mark came out of the dugout that last time as a Bruin. Equally touching was watching Tim walk off with his mon holding hands. Neither wanting to let go. We all know that Tim has more baseball to play. But not for West Brook.. Best of luck Tim. I will be following your next team. I talked to Bobby and his dad as well as Josiah and his dad. Each knew what yesterday was. David and his dad are two of the classiest Father son combinations I have ever met around baseball. Capital One Bank will have season tickets to U of H baseball becuase of those two. And Chuck...thanks to you my son told me you and he were tied for the biggest slobs on the team when on the road this year.. Chuck..we all will miss you. I loved watching you play... Is it harder on us Parents or the boys when it is over...For sure it is us...Do we not want them to grow up?? Maybe we just feel our own mortality..Or we just want them to stay little boys and days like yesterday are another reminder that they can't. The idea of bigger things like college, graduation, marriage and grand kids and how great those days will be just don't seem comforting right now..Maybe tomorrow For the Partains, Huffs, Benders, Lycans, Falgouts and Wallaces we have another year.. Yesterday reminded me of how fast that year will go by. I already know that I will watch my sons last game from Buckenrs.I am worried it will get the best of me. Others are welcome to sit with me but you cant make fun of me... To all of those associated with Wb baseball this year thank you for the KICKS...IT WAS A FUN RIDE...
  2. if you want to crown them than crown them...we knew who they thought the were in the 3rd game of the year. we let them off the hook...so you are you think you can be and they are what they would have been
  3. How much did WB get last night. It poured in Houston and more is on the way this afternoon
  4. great kid with a great brother from a great family...He also has the un tapped potential of being a hitter too..I have witnessed his last two ABs and his approach shows maturity beyond his age...Seriously a really nice player that with some work and time in the weight room could for sure play somewhere next year...
