  1. This comment says a lot. It takes a real stupid man to work hard and have a net worth of 4 billion.
  2. Good one......lol
  3. There are some links that actually show the killer with a mask. Horrible...... [Hidden Content]
  4. Yup.....I sure did. Computer was acting up. Tobie comparing Bland to Columbus day......Ridiculous comparison.
  5. This is exactly what is wrong with our country right now. It seems for every wrong doing we are looking for someone else to blame.
  6. Thoughts....... City of Prairie View votes to rename street after Sandra Bland [Hidden Content]
  7. I see your point......but we may have to disagree.....but we will see:)
  8. Like I have said from the start, He will eventually help the Republican party. He is making the democrats talk about things they would rather not. Hell, he is making everyone talk about things they really don't want to. It will come down to who has the better plan on the issues.
  9. Kinda what I was thinking. I can't imagine how I would handle that if it was my Son. I know I would want to remember all the good..... Still curious as to why......and we probably will never know.
  10. I saw this on Facebook. I'm not sure what to think about it. I'm waiting for an explanation as to why he went in the house and what he was planning to steal....if anything.....
  11. I was thinking the same thing. I was going to make a long comment, but it would be a waste of time.
  12. I honestly try to look at his actions as neutral as I can. Sometimes I understand why he is doing something even though I don't agree.....Other times I have no clue what he is thinking.....This falls under the I have no clue category.
  13. you know they fry the gizzards in the same grease with the shrimp.......
  14. Good Point Dang, did I just say that??????
  15. Come on Prepball......we could use some help.....lol
  16. that is when you make an "educated" guess;)
  17. I was not a "good student" by any means of the term. I would of much rather been doing anything but homework. My parents however, didn't accept bad grades......so I had to do homework on my own or because they made me. I did the absolute minimum I had to in order to stay unpunished. I, like you, always managed to pass.
  18. I'm not so sure what is wrong with STAAR. My Son (who I am very proud of), HATES reading......Hates it....I have to stay on him to get his AR points.....but he has never had a problem with the STAAR test. He scores about average. Could it be I stay on him during the school year and make sure he has good grades? I only accept A's & B's at my house. I do not "make" him study if he brings home A's and B's, and he better get A's in anything non-academic. If he makes a C, it's 1 hour mandatory study time every night, and no week day extracurricular's. This formula seems to work for me. I wonder how many parents don't make their kids study throughout the year, then complain when they cannot pass the STAAR?
  19. Makes you wonder what was going through his head. Why did he pick that house? They claimed he lived in the area, did he not know the guy was armed? What was he after? As a parent you hope you raise them right so things like this do not happen. Crazy!
  20. Good post TVC.......I will add those that think it would be easy to kill anyone would be sadly mistaken. To me it would be even harder if they were 16......
  21. If the vehicle is going to run over the cop it is
  22. My only issue is we have become a society that expects to have all information as soon as it happens. I don't see how you can gather hours if not days of information, process it, double check it, compare statements to physical evidence in a few hours. The we have SOME people who will believe whatever the media reports. It has been proven time and time again that the media will report and word things just to get ratings. So, we will have better information once the investigation is complete.
  23. He pleaded guilty to weapon possession charges in connection with a 1995 murder and subsequently to two assaults while in custody — once slashing an inmate on a bus between court and the Rikers Island jail complex and another time slashing an inmate so badly he required 60 stiches. He should of never been released in the public. After those two incidents, he should of served his full term of his initial conviction PLUS added time for each of those.
