  1. I personally feel they are trying to get acceptance by attention, which is fine. I don't like when people are accused of being homophobic when stating they disagree with that lifestyle. I don't like mushrooms but I'm not scared of them, nor do I hate them or wish them any harm. I'm a straight married male, and I have never looked for approval from anyone about which sex I prefer.
  2. This will pass the house no problem, and Biden will sign anything put in front of him.....
  3. BINGO...... Not my cup of tea, but I support safe events
  4. Love it
  5. You never know how her boyfriend treated her or what kind of spell he put her under.....or vice versa..... I have to say, most of the stupid, if not all the bad decisions I have made there was either alcohol, women or both involved......lol
  6. Not the model citizen the media played him out to be. Cop still made a mistake......BUT, he made a choice to be in the position he was in.
  7. My Son went to Evadale, which was a great decision, I love a small school and the individual attention he got. My point though, is Evadale said prayers at just about every function they had. I believe it is very common in the small schools. Trent's football team always made it past district, with one year getting close to State......The prayer was recited every game, and individual teams prayed on the field. I will say in the four years Trent attended, I think their was one fight.......
  8. I keep hearing court and jail....... he has not been in court or in jail.......... not even for the theatrical impeachment and my money says he never will
  9. I would not of thought that.
  10. I didn't hear that, but if that is true, that parent holds a lot of responsibility. It's a parents job to observe surroundings and make good decisions. This is sounding like she is looking to deflect responsibility.
  11. It's funny to me when people want the cops to make up crimes and charge people for offenses that are not there..... as far as fault.....If I was the parent, I would blame myself. I was not a helicopter parent, but I was strict and depended on no one to watch my kid when we did things. We don't know the full story, but to fill a kid with a 4 wheeler, he would have to be going extremely fast, or he was driving on the blacktop and the kid was in the street.......purely based on what little information I have seen.....
  12. LOL.....I was there when he came to Lumberton. They were outnumbered big time and the police was looking for a reason to arrest him. He was very humble that day.
  13. I don't disagree with your stance, we just don't know all the facts or policies as you have stated. The only thing I'm against is the media being able to control how a situation is looked at. I believe someone made a distinction between this shooting heath and the Floyd death. I honestly don't think Chauvin meant to or wanted to kill Floyd, but I do know this cop wanted to kill Babbitt. The way the media covered both is disturbing to me.
  14. So you would of been ok with the Seattle Police shooting all these rioters that stormed and took over the police station? If so, we may have found some common ground.
  15. 1. A private home is completely different than a public place. 2. A person during the day breaks into a private business, should the police be able to shoot them?
  16. If someone is breaking into my home that is MUCH different than this situation.
  17. Ok, I’m going throw the narrative the left always throws.... “should breaking and entering be a death sentence”?
  18. The most peaceful way to prevent rioting is to not allow it. It may cause loss of life in the beginning, but once the message is out, it will stop. Even criminals understand life versus death.... We just have get the media to not spin the truth
  19. Randy Travis, IMO had one of, if not the best country voices ever. I was always a fan of his hits, but when I watched the video below with him and George Jones, it gave me a new respect for Travis. I mean, at his age, singing George songs in front of George had to be nerve racking, but he killed it. If you have never hear this, it's worth the time.....
  20. I was wondering when you were going to announce this. I almost made a stand alone post about it here, but was not sure you wanted it public. I hope you enjoy your retirement and thank you for your service. I'm moving to Port Arthur for a couple years while we work on land, wait for lumber prices to fall and build a house. I would of felt a little safer if you would of waited a couple years,,,,,lol
  21. I'm not sure I agree or disagree with the shooting. We don't know the use of force guidelines. What I do know, is if this was a city police officer and she was black, the media would be up in arms and the headlines would read "unarmed black woman shot by police during mostly peaceful protest"
  22. A plantation may be comprised of 85% blacks, but who reaps the rewards? If we are going back to the 1800's, I guess the Plantation owner benefits......If we are talking current day, that 85% is being paid and want to be there, as they are not obligated to stay..... Now, back to current times. The only way to make a system perfect is to pick and choose. Should we be denying good black people to play basketball to add enough white people to mirror the demographics of the country or State? Should we do the same for Football. For Oscars and Academy awards, should it go to who earns it, or should be let lesser talent win so it matches a perceived demographic of fairness?
  23. That is hard to argue.....With 74% of the NBA black and 60% of the NFL black, I think those sports are very diverse.
  24. What I find interesting is pass completion and Super bowl wins don't even suggest a correlation. It also depends on the guy receiving the pass..... Brady(7 rings) #19 pass completion Montana(4 rings) #23 pass completion Bradshaw (4 rings) #171 pass completion
  25. Unfortunately, She is correct on the bolded statement. While I don't believe that is the general consensus today, I'm old enough to remember it was in the 60's and 70's.
