To our credit versus in todays climate....... 1. We all said "yes or no sir" when questioned. 2. We didn't yell "I know my rights" 3. We didn't refuse to get out of the car or refuse any commands given...... that probably went a long way

My guess there was a complaint, or he was so toasted, and maybe in public, the officer had no choice but to arrest. My guess is 24/7 video recording has had a toll on professional courtesy. Things has sure changed over the years. When I was in High School, my running buddies and I would meet at the end of pump house road (that's what we called it, not sure it had a name) off of Proctor Street extension in Port Arthur. It was in the middle of nowhere, or at least that is what we thought. We had beer (we bought underage, had to know where to go), and when we had beer, we had girls.....lol. So here we are, 16 and 17 years old, 6-10 cars at the end of a shell dead end road drinking, having a good time. About 9pm, we see lights coming, it's the cops, we are SHOCKED.....make us pour our beer out and go home. The next weekend, we do it again.......and again, SHOCKED the cops came........lol....They made us do the same thing and sent us home. I tell that story to my Son to explain when you are young, you make stupid decisions and then repeat them......lol Long story short, those cops could of ticketed us and made our lives difficult, but they gave us a break and eventually we learned......

I still have some questions….. is professional courtesy a think of the past? Was he .08 or .09 or falling down drunk? my guess for an officer to arrest another officer in the same department, he was toasted….

Yeah, he just ended his career with one stupid decision

8-1 vote......apparently he thinks free speech should be different for different folks...... In a dissent, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the school was right to suspend Levy because students like her "who are active in extracurricular programs have a greater potential, by virtue of their participation, to harm those programs." "For example, a profanity-laced screed delivered on social media or at the mall has a much different effect on a football program when done by a regular student than when done by the captain of the football team," Thomas here. So, too, here."

USPS Mail Carrier Caught Tossing Mail Instead Of Delivering

I work at a Vidor bank and this has been an on going issue for several years. Customers constantly call about not receiving their bank statements. I get at least 2 complaints a week. Old people that still use bank statements know to the day when it should arrive....lol My brother lives there as well, and my sister in Lufkin, me in Lumberton. We all received a few pieces of mail from the same place when my father passed.....My sister and I got all of our mail on same or next day, while my brother received his 7-10 days later.....Vidor's post office is horrible. -
All I know is traffic on I10/69 last few years has been horrible......

He speaks some truth, but paints with too broad of a brush. No one should vote based on skin color. No one should label a certain race as 100% one thing, because it is simply not true. I don't know much about the lady, but everything I have heard is positive. and you should never vent on social media...... But the above happens all the time by all races. To me, and I only speak for me, celebrating a person because they are the first of a specific color or gender, downgrades their hard work and qualifications. Minorities outnumber whites in Beaumont, so she had a more than fair chance to win even if you feel racist are in the mix...... Ignore ignorant folks.....they just bring everyone down

[Snowflake Trigger Warning] SCOTUS Upholds Obamacare

Nahhh.....I don't think you're THAT dumb. -
I could really care less who won, but the people complaining should focus their energy on the people that did not vote. Beaumont hs a population of about 118,000 and less than 20,000 voted, I think it was around 17,000.......and the REALLY sad part, is that was higher than the last Mayor vote........

I stand by what I said. You post for reaction only......That is not a secret -
You apparently have not took the CHL training……majority of the course is about where you can carry, very little training with actual firearm…..besides, I doubt all the criminals that carry have any type of gun training….

Don't take the bait, this guy is playing in the gray area of the rules..... -
A Trump/DeSantis ticket will be powerful.......especially if Biden/Harris keep doing nothing......
-
So, reasons to keep CHL is no background checks to purchase guns and the reciprocal agreements with other states..... I miss anything?

I spent 4 days in New Orleans and if I didn't know better, I would of thought weed was legal there. People were smoking outside of our hotel (Embassy Suites on Julia), smoking walking around Jackson Square, and smoking outside of bars on Bourbon Street.....Cops apparently have bigger fish to fry..... I will say this.....I had a great trip and felt safe at all times........

Trump tried too early, but at least he got rid of the individual mandate...... -
- Since you can now open carry without CHL, can your gun be in plain sight in your vehicle or does it have to still be concealed?
