What happen first Silsbee has the ball at the 25 then next png scores what's going on

I see that new candy is building a new stadium that they say will rank among the best in Texas and with a huge jumbotron as well but I think Silsbee stadium would be very nice with just the turf hope it happens one day.

I would love to see turf with the tiger emblem in the middle that would be nice ,Silsbee use to get playoff games all the time what happen.

Coaches make calls that we all sometimes don't understand ,wo-s called a reverse out of the spread on the 1 yard line against giddins a play that cost them that 3rd round playoff game and then wo-s called a fake punt against west Columbia a few years ago on wo-s own 4yard line on a 4th and 9 point is we know that we have the talent to go far and be a good football team but we are not the coaches and we have to live with their decisions it may not be right but what can we do about it.

Yes they did but it was the first time and only time is school history on a 2 point conversion, but how many times has Silsbee won at K-ville and at Silsbee hmm lets count.

Silsbee will never back down to anyone 5a or even 6a in that ever happens is the tigers get to meet Yates that will help the program tremendously Joe Sigler has never had a problem with playing the big boys, its is kind of messed up that Yates would fall to 3a when Silsbee has its best chance to win a championship but to be the best you have to play the best and Silsbee is not afraid of Yates ,Houston Jones or any of them . And don't forget I watched Silsbee play Wichita falls rider and the only way that team beat Silsbee was because the reffs put rider on the line 34 times to Silsbee 7 times and rider was 15 deep and had 2 6'9s , 6'8s and 6'6s they beat Silsbee by 5 but they gave the tigers a lot of respect that night.

Jay McGuire was the man I was there when jay had that historic night , also when they beat Wo-s after Kendall Cleveland had a 93 yard run for a touchdown , jay followed with a 101 yard kickoff return for a touchdown and he ran over Wo-s that game he was an awesome running back.

I don't understand how Yates could fall to 3a yea they have a great squad but they should not be able to recruit from the entire city of houston. When the young man from Silsbee came from Irving to play I heard the district had to vote on if he could play or not (if I heard correctly), but it seems that Silsbee cannot catch a break in their pursuit of a state title, if Yates doesn't move to 3a I would pick Silsbee to win it all but the tigers will never back down from Yates.

I think coach Sigler might try to go to the American press tournament in lake Charles have heard him mention it a time or too , and that's cool but the competition might not be all that great like it use to be back in the day.

Who would you like to see Silsbee play next year, and who do you think coach Sigler will play next year? Something tells me Wheatley and Houston Jones will be on the tigers schedule.

I heard that Silsbee has another player a guard in the 8th grade who will probably be at least a 3 year starter on varsity , I heard he was lightning quick with great control and can score. Does any one know who he is?

I was impressed with kingwood park being able to hold Yates to 68 points after Yates put up all those points against other schools no body will be afraid or intimidated of Yates if they ate then Yates has already won,win or lose if the tigers get to play them Silsbee will be ready,can't wait to Silsbee schedule next year it will probably be extremely rough.

You know is was worried about Yates too,but I feel the tigers will be mad and hungry about not getting to Austin,and losing the way they did, with the same group coming back they know what it takes to win and plus no one is talking about how kingwood park basically had Yates beat and let them off the hook. I think Yates is a great program but still very beatable what ever defense kingwood park used may be a blueprint on how to slow Yates down and maybe beat them, I believe Silsbee will welcome that challenge with no problem, if they get there and get that chance they can beat Yates.

That's great news in a Silsbee faithful but I live out of town and don't get to here much about the upcoming groups, maybe theirs a state championship coming out of 1 of these groups.

Will silsbee's talent level drop off after next year or will they have another good group coming  up after this group

How many seniors will Silsbee have next year because if reed is just a sophomore then Silsbee will have something to build on for the next few years

Not to say Silsbee can't win state next year but this was a golden opportunity blown by a refs whistle that cost is a chance that cost us a chance at a title , no it really going to be hard to win state.

Do they just have something against Silsbee ,my hats off to our guys they gave 100 % every game but for some reason we just can't win a state title. But it seems clearly the refs blew it. Boy I wish they would make the refs have press conferences.

Was the charging call the correct call to make or was it a blown call

It sounds like Silsbee is beginning to develops a heart of a champion, lets hope so. 1 game at a time tigers.

I talked to coach SIG last night after the game and he said he was very familiar with Athens he knows how they play and what they like to do. He said when he coached at Clarksville that Athens beat his team in 2 overtimes, and his team beat them in a later game so I'm sure coach SIG has big plans for Athens. Good luck tigers just win.

If Silsbee can keep up with a real good Wichita falls rider team and a very tall rider team that barely beat the tigers then Silsbee should be able to play with anyone, and also if Silsbee can be able to run on royal the way they did during the 3rd qtr of the hj game then Silsbee can win the whole thing, to me that 3rd qtr was the best Silsbee has played the whole season.
