Port Neches-Groves Boys 1 Nederland 0/Final
spoonbill replied to WOSgrad's topic in High School Soccer
The first half of district they're competing with basketball with possible playoff births at stake. It's the same every year. IMHO they should change the schedule up in some way. It also prevents some basketball players from playing both sports for a full season. -
Mine jammed once when I accidentally cycled a piece of cane lol. The good thing is they're so easy to disassemble, I did it right there in the blind. I even dropped the bolt assembly in the mud. Put her back together and went right back to hunting. Good hunting to you sir. I'll forgive your burnt orange affinity. ;-)

You'd figure after "50 years" of hunting and killing ducks, you'd get better at recognizing them on the wing. Especially a spoonie, my god that's one of the easiest. Smashing ducks you kill in the mud is pretty unethical, also illegal. I shoot teal on occasion during the regular season, but prefer to fill my bag with big ducks, usually mostly greys. I use an 870 express btw. I've had it for about 30 years. Autos are too heavy and prone to jam. Good talk. :-)

Shovelers most definitely feed on shellfish and other crustaceans bud. I let them pass and wait on good ducks such as grey ducks, widgeon, pintail, and the occasional mallard. I even let teal pass. If you're shooting spoonies, you need to find a better hunting area or learn how to set up decoys and call. Each to his own though. You probably eat Grinnell too. ;-)
-
I always let those fish/clam eaters fly on by! :-)
-
I do too, but the writing was on the wall at that point.

congrats on not learning how to use a and an correctly in a sentence while you were in school. #grammarcounts

Y'all have had to come up with LOTS of them since the NC season. I know that for sure.
-
And better competition lol

Actually the Razorbacks are and have been my main team my whole life. I started rooting for the Aggies in addition because I figured anyone that hated TU would be worth rooting for. ;-)

NATIONAL SIGNING DAY/POST SIGNINGS HERE!

If you count the Crosby kids as locals as I do, it's 8 freshman signed to a scholarship, 6 preferred walk-ons, and 2 transfers that went to high school locally new to the Cardinals. Pretty awesome if you ask me!! -
You don't know me very well then. I believe 9 of 14 SEC were on the top 25 list and 4 of 10 little 12 were on it. I mean, how can you even take yourself seriously if your conference name is the "Big 12" and there's only 10 teams. Rflmao

I think I saw a couple SEC teams somewhere in there....

Don't sprain your elbow patting yourself on the back lol. ;-) -
Very stressful, especially for kids that have been told their whole life to never tell adults no and to respect their elders. I don't fault the college coaches at all btw. It's a flawed process created by the NCAA that pays a LOT of grown men that work for them LOTS of money. They have no incentive to make it better.

Interested in seeing the story. It sounds like it must not mesh with what I'm hearing. Please update when it's available.

Sorry for the assumptions. It's just odd decommitting from a D-1 school and going the JC route. Maybe he wants to put on some weight and try for a better, bigger school. Who knows. Again, good luck J Carr.

It's been a rough week in L-town for sure. Prayers going out to all involved in both instances including the lady driving the vehicle. I know she must be traumatized also.
-
Must be grades or test scores. Good luck J Carr.

Lots of local talent. I likes!!!

Didn't Vidor lose their best player to a knee injury. The last time I saw them play it was the Quirantes plus two starting. Great athletes, but really football players.
