I see what you TRIED to do HOWEVER, you're point is invalid since EVERYONE except you knows that BU were in their SECOND year last season. Nice try thoughšŸ¤£šŸ˜†šŸ˜

    BU 1 PAM 0

thats what really matters , PAM have not beaten BU before and the trend will continue!!!

No one on my arse this morning nor anyone from PA is whining but this my last post on this thread. Keep the same energy next week after we win yet another game at our stadium in Beaumont. I've warned you about all that chest thumping. 9 more days. Don't go into hiding after yall lose that's all I ask.Ā

So i guess BU has a stadium in PA, bc the first year school beat the brakes off yall last year. LOL

Um i remember United fans ridiculous posts last year before yalls game with WB, should me or @Yeoj pull em up to remind you? You picked United by 2 scores in that one as well after playing some weak comp and thumping your chest only to be brought back to reality, im seeing alot of that from you Timberpups in this thread this yr. Can't wait til next week though, we'll shut all that up real quick.Ā

Guess PAM was part of the weak competition because we spanked yall before we played WB!! You need me and Soulja to pull it up!!!

This may be the most asinine post Iā€™ve read in all of 2020. This even trumps the ridiculous posts last year before this game.Ā

About the game.... Ā because weā€™re done with Ball... Ā after this game, donā€™t call for Memorial coachā€™s head after this game like last year. Ā Funny, the team made the playoffs and only to lose to a juggernaut team and many of your PA brethren wanted Morgan out of there. ā€˜Trill Texasā€™Ā remindingĀ Ā me of the Folks in Smoke Town. Ā

Souja they had reason, he didnt know when to kneel the ball or run the ball!! It didnt have anything to do with special teams so Coach M was out of his element!! FN went to bat for him since he's the assistance to the AD in PA. lol

From what I was literally just told from a Ball High fan is that #22 is their 2nd best throwing option that's why he is the backup QB, #9 cannot throw as good, they throw him in at Wildcat QB and let #21 be RB.Ā Ā

And as you can see from the footage #22 has a strong left arm, he's just not accurate unless the WR is completely open and he is not pressured, but he can tote the rock though.Ā

His right arm is strong as well, because your entire left side of the defense made his highlight film. Last i looked it was 6.6k views ofĀ  how he stiffed armed your team for an amazing TD!! Just saying

Letā€™s not dismiss the major struggle you guys had with Ball High, a team United dominated. Ā Letā€™s get our head out of the clouds, PA people. Ā Remember, I was close to the PA stands during and after the game. Ā

We played Ball with their starting QB, he had a season ending injury against us late in the game. If he had played 2 and 85 would have had a field day bc JG cant cover both!! We set the table up for this showdown so thank us. Just like we caught Friendswood down bc their QB wasnt healthy against us. But Guess what, remember i said this here, Mustangs beat yall last game of season to solidify our DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP!!

  7. 9 hours ago, Yeoj said:

Really! Y'all not scoring 50 on PAM. United can win this game. And if their O-line wasn't as bad as it is, I would pick them to win. Since they are, I think PAM wins by one score. Unless there's a lot of turnovers, it'llĀ be PAM 28Ā  BU 21.

Good Morning, lets continue. The O-Line is our weakest position up to this point. We do a lot of things to compensate for that issue though, thats why we get the ball out of our QB's hand quick. we haven't really challenged anyone downfield yet bc of that. Our OC is a CHESS player so i can assure you that lil 3 ft corner opposite of the stud JG will be challenged early and often. How do you beat a nasty pass rush off the edges, screens and more screens. if you saw the game Friday, what did you see: the screen game. All that CHESS players is doing is putting that on film so that special teams guy can prepare fore it, like slow down the rush so we can go deeeepppp!!! If we get the edge guys thinking pass its a long game for PAM!!

The same staff that didn't want smoke with WB in a real game?

Anyway, this game will come down to one thing: Memorial offensive playcalling, long as we stick to what's working and keep the foot on the gas somewhat this game will mirror our La Porte game with more than 26pts scored though, if we play around with yall then it'll be a close one similar to our game with Png. Either way i'm expecting to be 6-0 after November 5th.Ā

    Ā

United better bring that short offensive lineman on the left side up to speed, yall got an extra week to do it cause if yall don't that QB gonna be running for his life.Ā

Yes that staff that didn't have nothing to prove in playing WB. If you know sports WB system been in place for years so why would aĀ  new coach that just got the job in late spring and a pandemic in affect.Ā  He didn't see his kids till August and the staff was still being organized, we have bigger fish to fry than getting embarrassed by WB because they wouldn't have been prepared!! A district Championship is more important than playing WB for bragging rights!!!

  9. 12 minutes ago, Mr. Buddy Garrity said:

5 teams thought they could beat as you put it a "special teams" coach, 5 teams took that L including Westerberg so far. The sophomores are all grown up now and Jordon Thomas is back unlike last yr. This is very different than last year, I've warned Soulja about this, you'll see November 5th, just make sure you keep that same energy around 9:45pm that night, we'll see what that scoreboard looking like at our home away from home Memorial Stadium North Timberpup fans. šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤«Ā

    Ā

Btw: running away from one Thomas means you'll meet the other monster that's a Thomas as well, good luck with that strategy.Ā

    Ā

Swingout Club will be open after the game as I stated.Ā

Well it sounds good but you know yourself it really want be a game!! pack the stands so we can give our new coaches a raise!!!

  10. No SOULJA i was speaking of our new head coaches record in his last 30 games in El Paso. Everyone was speaking on that in the community. Obviously he is a respected coach because we have coaches from Mississippi and Alabama that came to coach with him in a district that just started paying their coaches days (5 everyone else gets 10-15)). Most outside coaches have to take a pay cut unless they coach 5 sports.Ā  SOULJA BU has held back on a lot of stuff, the community gave them hail over how conservative they were against Westbrook but they will win over the community with a win that counts. The winner of this game will go undefeated in District play!!! Like i said, they will score 50 on PAM!!

game plan: Run away from the stud DE: Dont throw at the stud DB. simple as it gets!!!!

    Ā

  11. Well lets get it going, PA Yall had the same excitement last year. This is a much better team than last years team and the coaching is much improved. Even if the game is aĀ  toss up, BU 0-30Ā  head coach can beat a special teams coach from LAMAR. Just saying, swing out or not!!! We have new single coaches from other states and cities and they do have a social life so lets not go there because you know some people dont take that as a joke!! Lets discuss the game and players involved. BU will put up 50 points on yall, because the swing out bandits have two weeks to out prepare a special teams coach with a lineman kicking. LOL

Ozen and Central were 5a schools.Ā  Ā WB is 6a and has the same amount of students as United.Ā  WB made a state title run but got ran off the field by NS last year. NS returmedĀ  like 90% of their team from last year.Ā  So yes, you're way off base.Ā Ā

A wise person once told me, if you know better, you say better...

I guess what he is trying to say is that our coaching is a HANDICAP. United has a very good coaching staff and personally i will put them up against any in the area. Everyone is quick to say the coaching, oh they will get out coached. What does that really mean being at a school that has the demographics as a United, Central, or Ozen. You got my point. So I guess You're basically saying Pevey staff is better than Louis staff, well that's what i get out of it since you cant say it. WB staff is ok but as you know a good QB make any coach look good. Ask BB in New England a loser until he met Brady!!! Back to my point, out coached. Lets make a lil list and see who would you take on paper not knowing their school!!

HC= Louis-Ā  Everyone knows his story SOUTH PARK LEGEND!!!! Mic drop

DC= Franks - local star in the late 80,s: went to Baylor as a DB and played over 10 years of pro ball, via NFL or Canada. High school coach for over10 yrs as well

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Jones- played at WB went on to play at Southern in BR, was on Stump's staff we they were making deep playoff runs as a LB coach 10 yrs coaching experience

OC=Ā  BevilĀ Ā Ā  - Local QB star at WOS; went to JC and one a national championship as the QB. The starting QB at LU whenĀ  program started back up; trains almost every QB

    Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  in the area. Grad Ass on the college level were he honed the skills of the entire offense. OL, RB,WR and QB. Can coach it all!!! 7 yrs exp @ HS coaching

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Ceasar-Ā  Local star at WR, went on to play his college ball at Arkansas. Hes as good as it gets coaching kids regardless of the QB play hes consistently has had a D1

    Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  WR. 10 yrs HS coaching exp

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Dotson- Cant speak on what i truly don't know (college career), but the other school wanted him just as bad as BU needed him under the circumstances, Great OL

    Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  coach and hes doing a great job as the run coordinator. 10 yrs HS coaching EXP.

Ā Ā Ā Ā  DB- BT-Ā Ā  Local star for Central went on to play on LU's first team as well. Was a standout player at LU, all conference performer. Will be coach Stowers DC we he get

    Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  into coaching, so that says a lot in itself. Played for Coach Stowers!!! Most wanted this past summer, glade he stayed!! 6 yrs exp

Ā DL/LB- KT- Local stud as well from central, played ball at SFA. Performed at a high level in college, super good energy will be a DC in the near future if he want!!

    Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  6 yrs HS exp

RB=Ā  Nelson- Local star at the Brook, don't know his college career.

said all that to say this, that out coached stuff is a thing of the past. They said it against Nederland and Memorial and we see what the outcome was. I know for a fact WB coaches don't have the Credential that i mention in the above caption!! WB head coach is from OF, they didn't hire him prior to the sub varsity parents going to a school board meeting and petitioned that he get the WB head job when Flanagan left. No HC exp at all but now hes the hottest thing in the GT!! The COACHES i mentioned above were all Scholarship student athletes, meaning they didn't walk on the teams they were recruited by those schools. Not saying just because a person played football he can coach football!! I am saying these guys have proven they can coach and AL is allowing the young coachesĀ  to grow their wings and right the ship and hes the master coach; input only when needed and necessary. AL knows one way, old school do the right thing kinda of coach, we know its an ERA of 7 on 7, camps, and one sport players. They train all off season on one sport, that's what the younger coaches bring to the table is that extra stuff. Which means doing stuff that's outside the norm. Friday game is going to be BU coming out party Mark my word.

100% agree with everything you said. I see potential here, will haveĀ hiccups but it is on the right path. I canā€™t tell you how much gas I used picking up players to practice. United coaches need to load up their cars and get them to practice. Treat it as your only chance for glory. My favorite quote , ā€œlive for the moments to do forā€, United gets that moment next week. Best of luckšŸ‘āœļøšŸ»

The BU staff has been assigned to different campuses throughout the district so picking kids up is out of the question. Every CoachĀ  have to be at a middle school or even WB at 815am and they cant leave until 415 initially but i think its getting changed. The whole thing about that is, WB is getting certified teachers to aide their classroom for the next few weeks and our kids are at home doing nothing. Said that to say this, no one looks at the big picture!!! People can say what they want, athletics are very important at school. Successful athletic programs are even better because the students want to be successful in academics as well. why not highlight the week with academic competition as well, debate, robotics, and anything else. That's how you improve your district, just like we should have had a split day at WB, meaning the WB students go to school for the AM/PM shift than United students come the other shift. GP and Summer Creek did it. There are always better options but its a sports forum so sorry for rambling but i think the community needs to know stuff like this. There are other options. Coaches already pick kids up, i just feel every coach that has CDL should be able to pick kids up and drop them off because if school was in session they would have transportation!!!

I agree, I was at the game through three and a half quarters and agree. Most were point of attack holds by receivers locking on to rangers defensive backs ( United receivers were manhandling the ranger defense back, just need to learn to let go)and when the rangers tried to separate you could see jerseys being tugged and pulled. That is an easy call cause it is so obvious and most of the time two flags were thrown because two refs saw it. United needs to clean that up because that is the difference in a close game and can be the difference in making the state playoffs . I sat on the United side and heard several fans get upset but the crew did a good job calling. I was impressed with the size and speed of United. I thought they looked like a team that was displaced for a week and have gone through quit bit of trauma. I thought the coaching staff prepared the team as well as can be expected. I wish the defense played a little more physical. One bad series cost them a shutout, in fact on the quarterback for Sterling big run, the edge responsibility, either Sam linebacker or end bit on the dive fake which allowed the qb to run free. Assignment has to be carried out by everyone to have a great defense. But Iā€™m being picky in pointing that out. Defense line looks good and potentially great. Mike lb is rangy and fills well. Secondary did fine in basic cover 2, was hoping to see some stem looks from 2 to man or 3. Offensively timing was off because of previous week. I thought QB missed a couple of obvious throws, just st holding it too long, again game time speed threw United off. They will improve by next week Iā€™m sure. A criticism though for running backs and quarterback in running, too much east and west running instead of sticking it and running north and south. This team will definitely contend for 3-4 in district with King, Laporte and channelview. And who knows in their rival game with Brook ( too bad itā€™s next week cause an experienced team like Brook isnā€™t affected by extraneous variables like inexperienced teams) where records are often thrown out due to emotions. First time seeing United play and very pleased with progress in only year 2. Sorry friends r long reply, just the coach in me. Then Sterling, just donā€™t see much potential there, not picking on them but I see them going winless in district. Good luck to both teams on the rest of the season.

They were super RUSTY, Coach as you know an offense need quality REPS in a practice setting. They hadĀ  roughly 6 hours of practice in a 12 day period. Their entire bye week was a wash and i mean that literally!!!! Monday a 3 hrs practice at the butch with no sleds forĀ  the O lineman to get quality work. Offense is timing and rhythm and 6 hours total which really means about 2.5 hours of offense and that's including individuals. I know the WR practice stalk blocking but without practice this is what you get from 15-18 year old kids. At no level is a Thursday game pretty: NFL, College, and High School football is not made for Thursday because everything is condensed, which is call a short week. Defense is more reacting than timing and all the players need to do is get their game speed up to par. United did that after the first two drives. The kids will be challenged mentally for the next couple of weeks because of the school situation but believe me they have the right COACHES who can make it happen. my biggest concern is transportation for practice. Like today, they have a 1:00Ā  practice and that's going to be difficult for 100 percent participation because some kids parents work!!! That's just my opinion. This is a very talented team and the sky is the limit, they need our support to the fullest. We have a few kids who got flooded so just imagine whats on their mind, this team is Destine for success just bc of what they have been through. Just let it sink in DEATH and STORM!!!! This is a playoff team and as we all know anything can happen in the playoffs but we will never know if we don't get there!!!
