Well i guess I can say it in a different way about the QB spot. He's a very athletic kid with tons of upside and he has the opportunity of working with AB all day everyday. He's one of the best QB coaches in this area for sure so with that being said he will have no choice but to get better. Secondly, you cant teach speed. The kid ran a sub 4.3 this summer at the Under Armour Camp, and as you can see BU's rival went to the State Finals and they were led by a talented QB. I'm not saying he's WB's last year QB but i am saying he has the potential. He's lacking game experience but he's getting more and more comfortable as each game passes. Hes the perfect RPO QB that everyone is looking for, believe me: he will get a D1 offer at QB!!!!!

Well I must add my two cents for what its worth. CR left Legacy in January because he wanted to get into the magnet program at BU. He is zoned for WB but they do not offer the Magnet program he's interested in. He also made All State at Legacy his freshman semester at WR and DB. looks like a great decision now that Legacy only have 12-14 players on their team. I can assure you he didn't transfer for athletic purposes. Parents have to do what's best for their kids and no one should question their actions unless it affects someone personally and not you kids playing time in sports. No one mentioned that he also participates in Gymnastics and student government as well. Just my opinion!!!

Just Saying, lets just be honest with ourselves!! The Three schools in BMT will never have success in the playoffs against schools out of the Houston area. The best we can hope for is two rounds and be happy. The Houston area has by far a larger number of kids to pick from first, thats just putting it mildly. Lets do facts for a minute: Our administrators are not that bright, case in point if i attend Pearland High and I feel its not the right fit for me because of whatever reason and can go to Pearland Dawson. First of all i would not have to sit out a entire year and I would have to wait the 15 days per UIL and that's it. In BMT our AD not Vidors, Nederland, or PNG will not allow a kid to play varsity for a year. HATE THAT RULE!! I understand the reasoning behind it but the reasons behind it does not benefit the kids development when he's playing sub varsity and played varsity the year before. The district does not have enough coaches so do you think there's Quality at the lower level!!! We had a coach in the district right now kid was an all district performer as a Soph, dad got a head job at the cross town school and do you know his own son could not play varsity bc of the terrible rule. That kid had D1 skills and i personally feel the reason he didn't go D1 was because his Jr year he did not get quality coaching and did not develop when the Pearland Kid continued to get better because hes still being coach up!!! Head Coaches in BMT are not judged on their Sub Varsity win/loss record so sub varsity do not have the best coaches, just saying. Secondly, Our District/ community is not about developing youth programs the correct way, meaning there's no way a youth program in the Pear Orchid, South-end, or the North-end can survive without the district/community help!! My good friends are doing it though, they coach Thunder Football and with the help of Central they are allowed to practice on their practice fields. Come game time, this is the problem why its hard to keep a league going for the kids zoned to Central and Ozen, It cost anywhere from 600-1500 to have a home game. I understand you have to pay for security and Refs. So if your having 4 age groups play and 3 refs per game at 50 per game that's 600. BISD officer making 25 hour, so it starts at 10 finishes at 5. That is another 175 and to add insult to injury our district wants them to pay them 250 just for using the facility on top of paying for a custodian all day and you cant use the concession stand bc the boaster clubs may not allow you to. Now mind you the league Thunder is in a league where you cant charge at the gate like Salvation army does and its a united way organization that I support Bi Weekly through payroll deductions!! I know for a fact my Buddies with the Thunder do not turn any kid away because of money, they just sell Turkey Legs every Friday to help with the cost, now i said all that to say this: This is a problem in our community because everyone wants to see the finished product on Friday nights and if they don't win FIRE the coach!!! Well when is the community going to step up and help support these types of leagues. I know the ones that are posting on this site can afford to do that because the kids I'm talking about don't even have a computer at their home. So their mentality is i will wait till i get in middle school to play football bc my mommmmmm cant afford for me to play nor can she afford to drive me to Houston every other weekend!! BISD comes into play because there's basketball leagues that are supported by BISD and there is for sure a summer TRACK program provided and the coaches even get summer stipends to do it. I don't hear no one on here saying fire the track coaches and i promise you we haven't had a state championship in track in a while but BISD pays people to run those summer programs. I guess because the have to go to WB to do it they get paid. So why cant we have a youth football program thats sponsored by BISD if football is that important!! We can also hold our city accountable also because they support all of this adult stuff and nothing for the youths that cant afford to play travel anything!!! Long post so I will continue later!!

Just got the word, The Thunder Sr team will be in the super game, the only team in the area to make the SB in youth sports!!!

Its not about sports, its call extracurricular activities that's recommended by the TEA. These programs are necessary and needed, so if you cant provide the activities shut the school down!! Its just like the Debate Team, cheerleaders, band, National Honor Society, and UIL Robotics competition theses programs must be provided and its not about sports!!!! Lastly I must say its a safety concern for a team and kids to be put into a numbers situation. I know for a fact Ozen had three to four major injuries this season and the training room was full every time i went by there to check on the trainer. Injuries are part of football, I understand that but lack of depth allows kids that are not fully healthy to play when the should not be playing or come back to soon!! I'm not making this into a negative post just trying to put the facts out there!!

 

From my understanding, the Pear Orchard was so concerned about getting their school back that they forgot to re zone the district. So jRidge that's why you have kids right down the street attending WB. So yes three school can be had in BMT but the zoning issues need to be addressed. I want to know whats the big deal about dropping to 4A. I've heard about the finances and all that's associated with the traveling and that's really dependent on which district they actually land in. WOS has been a winner at every level, the kids are what matter. WOS has given everyone in the area the blue print, i know the district has had its ups and downs but if it wasn't for a successful football program that district would fall apart. As an Ex Educator and coach a successful football year enhances the overall morale of the school: reduces absenteeism, referrals, and suspensions. Not saying WOS is perfect but all i'm saying if it wasn't for success in football there would be a number of kids that want even finish school. Sports is all the know and that's the motivation you need, not playing schools every week that has more  kids in their band than you have in your athletic program. 1A 2A 3A 4A 5A 6A, WOS send kids to college on a regular basis and from may last in service its all about putting kids in a good situation to succeed!!!! LIL C is going to be a beast no matter what division he plays in just like your boys JRIDGE because they work hard. Just had to vent, do whats best for the kids and yes my kids went to Ozen and played sports and they were happy but it may not have been what was best. Just following our feeder system like your suppose too. Odom to Ozen!!!

Yes They did win three in a row but one of them was a against vidor. We beat them one time and they beat us one time in the SB. The winner of the SB this year will not be stripped whomever win it will  truly deserve it! Its some really good teams in the Sr division this year. Believe me I'm keeping up with it. We really miss playing but its ok our boys are having fun and thats all that matters!! No ill feeling toward no one and may the  best team win it. My money is on the Ned Team though!! I'm a super fan of some of those young men that play in Mid County!!

I think Bmt has 2 championships and Png has 2, Bmt moved up to play Sr last year and they beat the PNG Team!!

Bmt Sr will not make it to the SB to defend their title!!!May not win a game this year!!!

BMT cant make excuses, we were without our HC/OC the last 5 games but thats no reason to complain. The kings of the league says it was self inflicted. We told them we would not beat people by more 40 so they held that against us. Yes its true at the coaches meeting the question was asked and it was returned with a question and our ans was 40. so next year our answer will be 60 points before the games are reviewed. LOL

Thats amazing, kinda like the runner ups dont even get a trophy. The powers to be are worried about a pro bowl and the best players are not even in it. The best players are playing in the SB. I dont remember if they give out trophies to pro bowler or not but I know the STJFL can add a few more dollars to their budget and buy the runner ups a medal or something. They are to busy buying inspector gadget stuff to spy on people. Well at least some of the SB winners had more than one representitive present, BOBCAT101 took all of 2 min to present the SB trophy to our head coach and no other yellow card holders were even in the area code. They all can show up to watch an EDIT CLIPPING of a game but cant come congradulate a kid. But BOBCAT101 posted before that they spend thousands of hours away from their families dealing with STJFL business so another 10 min per game shouldnt have been a problem. Its alright to have your favorites but its not fair to be totally un-ethical in 2014. Theres something called checks and balances in our great country. Three organizations should not run the entire show. The judge and the jury!!! The man upstairs do not sleep so all of you who think your are volunteering in good faith, you will see when you least expecting it. All help is not good help, remember that BOBCAT101 and JK!!!!!

No things were not going to get out of hand because the BMT teams i've been a part of have had nothing but class!! BOBCAT101 nor JK knows any of the coaches personally so for them to have a personal agenda for a group of coaches that are 41-4 in five years with two SB and 4/5 years made the Sb is beyond me. Maybe they need to stop trying to get them kicked out a league and just ask them whats the recipe for success. PNG coaches respects us, probably because they watch film and they coach their kids up and thats why they are a superior bunch of guys in my eyes. Brady B they watched us play and the are really talking noise. They run a bubble gum offense, if it wasnt for a hail mary on 4th and 20 and a spectatcular catch they would not even be talking!! I think WOS would beat them 8 out of 10 times. Coach Franklin know how to get in touch with me so you dont have to be a messanger Brady B!! Theres a reason way they playing lil school. Play up next year like WOS is going to do. Brady I just feel like we have better kids from top to bottom!!! But we can play whenever, i have my to refs and the pay for two because its not going to be no ghetto ball!! They said the same thing in Houston a few years ago and we spanked that butt so bring them on, dont let the smile fool you!!

Its been one hellava year! I just want to say it once again this is one of the best Jr football leagues in the state of Texas. just like anything, it has its goods and bads! I'm going to start out by saying its been a pleasure to coach the BMT SR team this year. I dont really know when it all started, but the majority of the STJFL Board didnt even want us to win. Well guess what, they did. The STJFL President wasnt even present to present their trophies. Its amazing how a formal board meeting can be arranged in less than 24 hrs but you cant make a trophy presentation to kids.  The other guy that hates BMT the most is BOBCAT101 (JUAN), did the presentation and it was about as sincere as a 3 dollar bill. These guys cant even speak to the BMT coaches that were left to coach the team after all the pot stirring!!! Juan you need to police your own league like not allowing kids to pick pro bowl players. The word is letters are being written to get rid of you. Than you turn around and make comments like youve heard worst that that at home. Let me explain this, supposely some fans called the OF cheerleaders the B word, so a parent told Juan and he said your daughter hears worst that that at home!!! You are not liked by anyone that i have spoken too but you walk around like your stuff dont stink. You have taken your given power in one of the best organization and used it in all of the wrong ways this year. You wanted a small school big school flag division and you got it. That has never happened before but since you have a son in flag now and you have the power it came to be and yes OF did win small school flag division!!! WOW is all i can say at this point about you. I'm not going to let people like you dictate where me amd my son play or whether i can coach or not. So with all that being said BMT SR team will be back to defend our SB Championship and beat you in your own game BOBCAT101. As for our President, if you son's team would have won the SB would you have been there. Or if your Father In Law's team would have won the SB would you have been there. I forgot thats the same team we lost to 1-0 so they could get a higher seed. I'm just saying!!!

How can you not present the trophies to the kids, you are the President!! You can make meetings to discipline the BMT coaches. You are a voted official in your community and you know whats right and whats wrong!!! When I was on the STJFL Board Big schools representatives handle big school issues not ever repesentative on the board. So i'm just wondering how BC can voice their oppinion about our program and than have a vote on our future. My teams have not ever played BC or OF so why are these two representatives have the red butt abour our organization. The one time we were suppose to play BC it rain and BC made us drive all the way there just to tell us it was cancelled. If we would not have shown up we would have lost the 1 -0. So who should be mad!!! I personally asked the scheduler not schedule BC or OF but we are the bad guys. So i'm asking the board to schedule the 4 SB junior teams. Just asking!! Through it all I still think we play in the best youth football league in the state of Texas. Good job BMT SR!!!!!!
