With all this Bmt drama in youth football, all I have really noticed on Fri nights is that the mid county boys top notch couch potato and video game training from their youth has been paying off.  Thank goodness none of them were out putting in "backyard time" with their dads as 9 and 10 year old superstars.  Jag, luvya, anklenibbler, and bugatti might want to change up the workout regimen.  Just throwing that out there for all the "we win by 60 + because we work hard and your chubby couch potatos don't," comments.    B)   

Lets see if its the same song and dance in 2020-2023. LOL

I'll take a 3 point loss to PNG any day for a running of the clock against VIDOR,LUMBERTON, and the all mighty Nederland. If that's any indication we are playoff bound on the small school side every year!! Just saying!!

Sorry if my response is what you expected but our staff is well respected and we follow the rules! Our kids love the game and they learn from this program! We never tell kids not to score we just don't and if you swap kids around you can control the flow of the game without all this hoopla! It's called being a responsible coach and I feel that we do it well!

Come on know IceWater lets not go there. We havent broken a written rule in three years. We are respected also. I can come back to the fruit and get all the love i want. Being respected by racist, grownups living through their kids, and just bad people its not a goal of mine. I can care less about what those types of people think of me. And to take it a step further all of the above people laugh and smile in our faces but say and do different things at their board meetings. I'm upset because you and the rest of the league are attempting to drag our names in the mud on the cool, were not criminals and i'm getting tired of this board and the league attempting to paint that picture. I've been quiet because of my son, so if yall want to play hard ball we can!! so lets stop throwing jabs at the two coaches in question here and i will be just fine. Didn't Lumberton Freshman try to score with 6 seconds  left in the game while up by 20!  Post that Hippy, you make your views very obvious on both boards but you have the power to lock a thread. WOW!!

The decisions have been made and our kids saw last night that we will miss our head coach. We also found out that it takes hard work to be successful. No excue we lost and we will learn from that loss. Every year before a big game there some type of distraction but were ok. The STJFL didnt relay any thing to the coaches, we just found out who our intrem coach was yesterday.LOL

Here is something we can start arguing about or maybe start making excuses. Whichever BMT prefers.... :)

No excused, we loss and we will go prepare for our next game just like every other week. I miss my Head coach though!!!  4 sets of eyes are better than two!!!lol

2 int returns for td's and a fumble recover for a td (3 defensive td's there) and a punt return to the 2 yard line... do you tell a defensive player to not pick up the ball or pick it off and not attempt to get in the end zone?

I think Lumberton should prepare their kids better and stop complaining, I dont see PNGW on here complaining because they prepared themselves in the past to beat us and they did, and i gave them and still will give them their props!!! All the teams in that meeting that wanted the league out have felt the rapp of the BMT Machine. Just saying, well not bridge city!!!

Didn't say coach was pathetic just said his decision tonight to keep starters in the game that long in my opinion was pathetic. He's done a good job at central. Also was still throwing in the 4th up by 50.

Did Lumberton pull their starters!! I think its unfair for any team to pull their starters and the losing team keep their ones in. the ones are upset so whos to say they wouldnt take shots at the twos, it happens in the STJFL,  just saying. everyone notices QB and RB so whos to say his OL was not backup kids. No one practice being up by 60 pts, the twos get very little work and you can blame that on the UIL!!! They will get their chance next year!!! Its called wait you turn!!

Nederland was up big in the 4th quarter and their QB was still in the game, and yes he did pull up injured. Thats the only reason their #2 went in the game. I forgot their coach is a legend and its ok!!! WOW

BISD kids and staffs have been through enough can they enjoy themselves for once without someone complaining about a good win!!

CV has by far the most explosive offense in this district, i have watch them several times and their offense is the real deal. Memorial will be alright, the best defense is when your offense is on the field. They need to slow the game tempo down and i no they like that no huddle stuff. They run the ball alot and with those two elite track stars in the backfield the can score fast from anywhere on the field!! So just huddle up and use the entire 40 second clock!! JMO

centrals d is leap years better than ALL OF LUMBERTONs opponents so far this year I'll givem 14-17 points

Lumberton will not score more than 7 points!!! Promise and thats on a missed tackle. Thats just a regular 50 defense in cover 2. Lumberton has no player thats a threat!!!

Firstly he was playing CB not RB went make a tackle and was hit helmet to helmet by a kid twice his size on the opening possession of the second half. The kid that hit him lowered his head and hit him square in the face mask with the crown of his helmet. It happened right in front of me. Secondly it is my son that was injured. Out for at least 2 weeks with a concussion. He is a tough kid. He got up and went right back to his position for the next play. Our DC noticed something did not look right with him and pulled him. I checked him and then went from Dad/Coach to Paramedic. We spent 6 hours in the ER. He will be fine but is now questioning even wanting to play. Is this what u want such a great sport to be seen as. Having played football from 8th grade and on into college myself this is not what I was taught. And making our coaches out like some of you have been sure as heck don't know them like I do.

Being disrespected by people in this league is just a lesson my son will learn early in life about people who do not have his best interest. you guys my disrespect me but i promise you i'm respected because you or anyone else in this league cant say any thing about our kids skill level. Just remember whisper theres a difference between being respected and being disrespected because you or no one else wouldnt say the things you say on this blog in that persons face. I've never been disrespected by any coach, board member, or parent thats involved with the STJFL because i'm a man before anything else so lets get that  correct!!!

I hear you Bugatti!  Like I said, I have no clue what happened.  All I know is if you win by margin of greater than 40, it doesn't matter if it was an mpr player who ran the ball up the middle and scored or whatever.  There was an STJFL rep at a game I witnessed (wasn't a Nederland rep) state, you better tell them to run out of bounds or whatever you have to do to not score.  I just don't think that is what the rule was created for.  I don't think it is enforced properly etc.... I think the true purpose of the rules is for a coach to not MALICIOUSLY attempt to try and run the score up.  I don't think you or your coaches ever do that.  I don't think the Nederland coaches did that.

I personally think if your 2nd, 3rd, string is in after the mercy rule in affect and they score, there should not be a punishment.  Let those kids run a normal play and not have to try not to score.

The true interpertation of the 40 pt review is, if a defensive score takes it over 40 it is not suppose to be reviewed. I was at that meeting!!!!

The player who started at wr has been starting at wr all year long and plays wr 95% of the game. He comes into the backfield for a few plays a game after the starters have been removed. This particular game he ran the ball 1 time off tackle when the score was 38-6 and still under the 40pt new rule. Same thing he's been doing all year. What makes this game any different?

Bugatti its all going to work itself out, the man upstairs dont sleep. we all know its personal between the Lumberton president and the BMT coaches. matter of fact the Lumberton Sr coaches didnt file the complaint the president did while he was on the phone with BMT president before the game was even over!!! Our kids play Lumberton High the next two weeks, OZEN/CENTRAL, so lets see if the lumberton school board will file a complaint on them for not starting a premire player in the game in order to run up the score.LOL

Now there is where I will have to say something my friend lol The part about me not havng interest in that team is no where close to true. I had 7 teams in my organization last year, and only one of them had anyone I was related to and that was the 5th grade team that I did not coach. I had 70 kids in my organization and was related to 1 and he is no longer in the organization. I care about every single one of those 70 kids...Including yours! I hate seing my organization dragged into this from multiple people, but I think everyone knows that I have NOTHING but respect for the Beamont coaches and kids. And BTW, I had a lot to do with forming that team and buying them all team shoes... I have a lot of respect for you as a friend and a coach, but this statement  that you wrote could be taken the wrong way by some outside people. I dont think you were trying to down me, but some people might think you were..So i wanted to make sure that everyone knows that we are good.

Sorry if you took it wrong, your organization is a okay by me and i know what you do for kids also. I'm just saying when you guys had tryouts there was not a fourth grade tryout. The 4th grade team came around later in the year. We were going to tryout for your 5th grade team bc no 4th grade team was even heard of in SETX. Thats all i'm saying and i'm through talking basketball!! I will never play with them so i will never have this convo again. It was you and Chuck's team, Chuck defended you and your boy to the fullest. You should thank Chuck and buy him dinner. Yes you have one thing right, I didnt play because of you guys and thats the honest truth. My son is only playing with kids that may go to the same high school. I'm not going to Nederland so why play with a team and kids from other places other than BMT. I have 8-10 kids at my house every weekend so i can start my own team and never have to leave the neighborhood!!! But instead  i choose to drive to Houston 3x a week so my son can get better and people like you hate on kids that work hard unless their on the same team.

No one said nothing our first year in Pee Wee when PNG beat us in the Semi Finals and Anderson and Rivers got a chance to play in the all star game. The represented the north, can you guess lumberton coaches coach that team, Anderson and Rivers Carried the ball 30x between the two of them. Did the Lumberton President file a complaint on that??? NOT If those two kids are on the same team any coach would love it and they would defend them also because they would know how hard they work. Its not fair for any kid at 8 9 10 year old to be singled out, the last 5 rule changes have been bc of two kids. Premire player, 40 pt review, spirt of the rule, different definition each week on the starting backfield, and any other rule that fits the cause!!! Not bragging about the boys but its the truth. Rivers played on a travel baseball team and he sucked did i make an excuse for him no, i told him he had to work harded or he will continue to suck. Some of my Nederland  and PNG friends (yes i do have a few) saw him. They know i'm telling the truth, speed cant outrun a k!! Guess what i told Morgan we're done bc he's not dedicated to the sport like he should!!

I personally don't believe the lawyer noise.  That's just smoke and mirrors.

 

Someone is going to sue a non-profit? 

 

Besides, I'm sure there is a lawyer on the side of the STJFL that would work for free.....

Keeping thinking is just smoke HIPPY, enough is enough!!! STJFL is safe but people like you bobcat has to answer some serious questions about the decisions youve made as a board member. Lamar may just need to hear what has happened because they serve the community not the STJFL. Dont get me wrong, two wrongs dont make it right but be fair and consistant. If there was a violation lets have fair and consistant punishment. Lumberton coaches fighting on the field a couple of years ago and no one was suspended for two years. So whats worst for the kids to see,  adults fighting or a coach telling his kids not to score bc of a 40 point review rule!!! LMAO

I think the organization that filed this complaint is from Lumberton, did he file a formal complaint and then state that if those coaches are not kicked out of the league i resign!!

Did he say he felt unsafe going to a game because of a fight or did he say he feel unsafe about attending becase hes acting unethical!!! Just asking???

Stirr it up, first of all SETX HEAT didnt even have a fourth grade team until Chuck attemted to put one together for you and your boy. Brady wasnt apart of the forming of a fourth grade team, he just allowed chuch to use his team name. The only person on that original team that had a son that was a 4th grader was you. Every one of the kids brought over  played lil dribblers in BMT. Thats how the 4th grade team got started, Brady b had nothing to do with it but let the kids play under his club name. So lets get it straight, Brady B nor Chuck has any interest in a 4th - 5th grade team bc they dont have any kids or relatives that play on it. Your the only one thats going to be left out. let me know what team you latch on to so I can put a team together  so we can play you guys!!
