  1. Don't think those actions will go unnoticed.
  2. The coaches said a lot, but no one was listening. Home cooking at it's finest...
  3. I also heard it was their AD doing the announcing. I don't know if it was for sure, but if it was, that is extremely weak.
  4. Well, that explains the 8 minute qtrs. It does not explain why they didn't stop the clock.... EVER! It also doesn't explain why the PA announcer was calling out our plays over the speakers as the ball was snapped either... "WO-S running a reverse" before the play even develops. Nice freakin job!
  5. After going back over the numbers, those are pretty close to being correct... my bad...
  6. I don't think those number are accurate. I think he went off of the numbers posted on another post and those weren't accurate either. I'll give you the actual numbers for the top 5 on his list as soon as I have a chance.
  7. According to the Enterprise, using data from all of their games. Central is giving up 101 yards per game on the ground and Dayton is at 135.5.
  8. Well, that ONE school is going to have to get some continuity with their coach and allow someone to BUILD a program and not deal with what they've inherited from the last temporary resident. The only way this will happen is with patience from the fan base AND the school board.
  9. Judging JV teams can be tricky. If the JV is successful, but are made up of predominantly Juniors then that doesn't necessarily translate into a succesful varsity. If they are predominantly Sophomores, then they could translate into success. I agree with someone earlier who posted that it's best to keep an eye on the freshman teams, if they are all kept together, which most schools do.
  10. WO-S players and coaches are very well aware of the potential that HJ presents and will not be taking them lightly as some fans from other schools are predicting. Anything can happen on any Friday and they know that HJ will be coming at them with all they've got. It should be a great game.
  11. Bevil vs Dayton 11-17-0 for 163 yards and 2 TD's Dayton QB 4-18-1 for 62 yards and no TD's
  12. I know I'm being a homer here, but you are absolutely correct about that. We have some really talented receivers this year. Along with Franks and Thomas we have Ronnie Dennis, Dominique Rhodes and Jemere Batist. All of which would probably be the number one receiver on most other teams. All of them can catch anything thrown at them and they all have great speed. Running the ball we have, of course, DePauldrick and Earl, but we also have Kendrick LeBlanc who is probably a combination of DPG and Earl, but doesn't play it as much because he stays on the field on defense. Now you guys can see what we WO-S folks have been talking about since the beginning of the year. We don't have Beasley anymore, but as a TEAM, we are better. Most people don't understand, but last year, other than Beasley, we were a very young team. We wouldn't have been near the team we were LAST year. This year is a different deal.
  13. WO-S JV 5-0 Freshman 3-1-1 against some pretty stiff competition.
  14. I guess a 54-0 shut out isn't very impressive... oh well, it will not take long to see who is the best out of WO-S and Giddings.
  15. OF gets over the hump on this one. They realized Friday that they can play with the big boys. This week they beat one. 8)
  16. First of all, I want to point out that no one predicting a blowout is from WO-S. I have spoken to a few coaches that have seen Kville a couple of times and they definitely have our utmost attention. This should be a good, hard fought, very physical game. Both teams will bring the hat.
