A good portion of the regional final game last year was recorded and viewed. I won’t say who. I certainly enjoyed watching it. That is probably not happening this year. NFHS may have some streaming. You probably will have to pay $11.00 to see it.

Putting it together, hoopinsider.com used to show games video recorded on an iPhone. I am guessing they must have gotten in trouble for that.

So, speaking of region III the winners of this Tuesday's games go to the regional final four tournament, correct? Same for the other three regions.

That guy for Somerset was 6 ft 10,185lbs. If he had been 6 ft 10 220 or 230lbs, with some skills it would of been a whole different game. But, he wasn't, and that's that.,

Apparently the deficit is just a political football with Republicans.

Barnes, Trajan Harris, Michael McCain, etc. Those guys are gone on. A few of em will give you a good run in a pick up game down on 21st street.

Have you seen how the deficit has grown? Oh, that's right. The deficit is only a major issue when a democrat is in the white house.

I say get past regionals and deal with Argyle later, if they can get by Decatur.

I like watching HJ play. They are pesky, scrappy, and fearless.

Yates has a deep bench. So they and run, press and trap until their opponent loses their legs. Then Yates shooters, and they have several, start swishing uncontested 3s. Silsbee's best six or seven may have a slight edge on Yates...maybe. But as the game goes on, and if Silsbee gets tired,..I don't know. If they both make it to the regional final, it will be a very good game.

I definitely try to read as little of what you post as possible.

People around here & elsewhere see and hear what they want to. If a presidential candidate they oppose says deplorable they latch onto it. If the candidate of their choice mocks a physically challenged and disabled journalist they totally ignore it. It is the same with terms like racism.

Housing prices is just one issue. There are many issues. Nobody has an answer for any of them.

Racism is racism. It doesn't matter who is in office and who is not. It may be more out in the open when It seems to be more favorable to do so. It was there all the time. Besides, racism is just one issue. There are good vs bad issues that jump across. There are gender issues, earth quake issues and other natural disasters. Classism issues. Soon, if a person can't afford to buy a $750,000.00 town house that person is going to be homeless that is a serious issues I could go on and on..

If and when one of those teams advances far enough I'lll will start paying real attention.

I know this is suspect, but max preps and the UIL bracket say Washington vs Brazosport and Furr vs Lamarque.

Houston BT Washington is playing Brazosport somewhere. Anyone got info on that game? And when did Brazosport switch over to reg 3 from region 4? After the last realignment I guess. I am just now noticing that.

This could be the last time i get to see this group. I've been following Devon and Jay since they were freshmen. Devon was 5'8". Jordyn was maybe 6'2" and thin. I remember asking "which player is Devon McCain?" He's so small. Everyone said he was the spark plug of the team. Silsbee was playing Bellaire at the Episcopal HS field house. Devon was coming down hill with the ball, going 100, down the right side of the paint. Standing between him and the goal was this 6'5" 300lb post player for Bellaire. Devon didn't break stride. He stretched the ball out in his right hand, Scotty Pippen style, and put some kind of crazy english, spin, on the ball. It skipped across the backboard, rolled and bounced around the rim a few times and went it. I said to myself Okay, I see it now. The next four seasons will be very interesting. And they have been.
