Yeah I leaned to Huffman with my pick-ums, but went with LCM and they let me down. Some nice golf courses over in the Huffman area, btw, and some good BBQ. If I was going to pick a game to make an afternoon out of, it would have been this one.

It's good to see all of that bulldog hate and cruelty gone now. It's also good news about the QB, for his baseball career especially, but I'm a little surprised that he'd be put immediately back onto the football field. My wife and I had dinner last night with a couple of bulldog friends and they were pretty surprised as well. Anyway good luck, MCM should be a good one.

A non-sequitur: When we evacuated for hurricane Rita, we left at 6 a.m., and got to Lufkin at 6 a.m. the following morning. The trip to Lufkin has never been the same ever since. Lufkin wins this one, regardless.

He misspelled his name, then, it has an "i" where an "o" should be. WRT this year's team, they sort of remind me of me. Sometimes you can have all of the best coaches in the world, and devise the best plays, and get everyone in the correct spots, and still someone will jump offsides.

We used to go to the Bayou Cafe on Major Dr in Bmt for gumbo, hush puppies, and banana pudding. Good po-boys too.

I wouldn't go over 49 either, or much more. Coach J hasn't run up any score over 50 or by too very much in the 4 seasons he's been here. But I wouldn't expect to see many O-line substitutions until maybe late 4th qtr.
