BH wins 3-1. If there is any team I would prefer BH to not be matched with in any playoff game its RSS. I would have much preferred for both teams to advance. RSS has a great team and a very spirited fan base. Congrats RSS on a fine season, and good luck BH in round 2!

but that's after a very long and very successful career at TCU: Patterson is winningest coach in Horned Frogs' history. Patterson has led the TCU Horned Frogs to six conference championships—one Conference USA title in 2002; four Mountain West Conference titles in 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011; —and nine bowl game victories—including victories in the 2011 Rose Bowl and 2014 Peach Bowl. His 2010 squad finished the season undefeated at 13–0 after a 21–19 Rose Bowl victory over the Wisconsin Badgers on New Year's Day 2011, and ranked second in the final tallying of both major polls. Its amazing Patterson did this with not near the all 4-5 star recruits UT etc. gets. Patterson thrived with lots of 3 stars with a few random 4's and 5's mixed in. Amazing really.

The BH O-Line is fairly large and pretty good, but the whole team will need to execute Friday.

Prayers for Ben Featherston

Hurts to read this, but thanks for posting. Sadly a Prosper TX cheerleader was recently paralyzed in a tumbling accident, too. Its just hard to hear of kids getting really sick or hurt badly. Stay strong Ben. SETX has you in our prayers. -

"Daddyball". That stuff sadly happens. I have seen it many times elsewhere in recent years past. Last names matter. -

I don't know how you can say that. The facts speak for themselves, BH is highly inconsistent. BH can play well, or, lose to anyone. Depends which Eagle team shows up. -
I agree with all the comments above. All I know is that BH can beat almost anyone and also lose to almost anyone. TC might not be an elite team but they are 8-1 and 5-1, and appear very sound and consistent. TC is at home, too. The right Eagles have to show up to make it a game. "Playoffs" start Friday night for BH.

Possible sweep from 12 5A D2??
Separation Scientist replied to #COUGAR08's topic in High School Football
So if you post something that is not obviously meant as funny, and then someone replies, then you spin it as they are "offended"? Seriously? 24/7/346. <<< Now thats FUNNY! -

You were cheering on PNG in the other thread, so did it help or hurt BH? -

Separation Scientist replied to #COUGAR08's topic in High School Football
No I don't. BH is the most inconsistent team ever. Which Eagles show up? They can implode, OR, they can dominate. It can even change quarter to quarter. We don't even know who we are playing yet. After Crosby beat BH early on, I don't care about Crosby at all. Why does Crosby worry so much about BH? 24/7/365. -

I don't track stats but I am willing to bet BH had lots of yards. Seemed like we made 5-8 years per carry all night. Just didn't FINISH! Frustrating! -

Some random thoughts. Still don't know what BH team shows up week to week. BH looks awesome and then terrible. Too late in the year for this much inconsistency. Dayton had nothing to lose tonight. They played hard and loose. Some breaks went their way. BH drove up and down the field all night, but failed to punch it in many times. I am thankful BH defense did not have multiple blown ACL's. Dayton dove at knees and chop blocked all...night...long. Refs ignored it. Dayton unnecessarily called time outs in the final seconds with BH in victory position. Come on, Dayton coach, have some class. When its over it's over. BH will HAVE to catch the ball better next week. Way too many drops. Too many fumbles. BH did do enough, and moves on. The playoffs effectively starts now for BH. -
