Crosby 53 Barbers Hill 46/FINAL OT
Separation Scientist replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
The sad thing about this is that the game is now completely overshadowed by the acts of Crosby and their coach. The Crosby reputation has suffered way more than any benefit they got by winning the game. Crosby now has to wear it. -

If you will READ what I wrote I blamed BH for letting a beaten opponent back into the game. Try getting facts straight. -

I don't know. I would kick but there must be a specific reason for it. -

One great thing about playing at PNG is the class of the program and class of the Indian fan base. PNG has had a great reputation for decades. It will be a refreshing change after dealing with trash last week. -

One way or another, this is the inflection point for Barbers Hill. So far, at the seasons midpoint, BH has not been able to finish against a good opponent. As I said earlier in the year BH is killing itself with TO's, because TO's let a beaten opponent back in the game. The schedule does not bode well for BH either. PNG, Ned, and TC are all on the road. It is a very difficult, but not impossible road ahead for the Eagles. It will be interesting to see how they respond. All BH can do is take one game at a time. I support the Eagles 100% but I am a realist. Until BH can finish, and finish on the road, I can't easily pick them to win against a good opponent. Could it happen? Its possible, but until it does I guess 35-33 PNG, with early conversions missed and late BH turnovers letting a 4th quarter PNG comeback materialize. Go Eagles, I hope you prove me wrong. -
Well big boy, why don't we meet up? You can get a up close and personal view just how much a lady I am.

You and 14.2 are right. BH has a trash Defense coached by a trash coaching staff and a trash HC. Four games are PLENTY to have a well oiled machine humming along in perfection. BH goes O-fer the rest of the way. In fact, BH ought to just go ahead and cancel its pathetic program. Its utterly hopeless. Thank you all for your infinite wisdom. GO Baytown Coogs! GO BIG NED!

TW had 5 years, Carl Absek has not even had five games yet. You are comparing apples to oranges. You seem to have some kind of issue with Absek ever since BH hired him. "Demoted"? Trying to stir up some kind of resentment within the BH staff this week? Sure looks like it. Interesting.

At least we got a safety!

KP run defense was terrible.

Another GOOD 2-1 Friday for GCCISD!

RE the new coach, I said weeks ago there will be a new system and a transition period for BH. I said then I expected BH to be 1-4, but more importantly 1-1 and battle tested at this point. I think they will be 2-3 (instead) and 1-1 and battle tested. I am more concerned how they respond after this game, Crosby should win with ease this week. That's just the reality of it.

They beat 4 teams they should have beat and lost to a very good Huffam team. I would describe them as solid but unspectacular.

Barbers Hill vs Nederland
Separation Scientist replied to SetHaGoEagles!'s topic in High School Volleyball
I agree, your district is what it is, not too much this year. In pre-district they did get to play Clear Lake, Manvel, Summer Creek and a tough Katy Taylor team. -
I read your post perfectly. Thats why I started off with 5A-6A DeSoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill. Or did you miss that? Whatever, but I added MORE examples of my choosing, It was part of my looking at the broadest picture, instead of cherry picking one year like you did. I have no need for the "everything is unfair" mindset. Everybody wants to believe they are a victim. Funny no one complains they don't have half a team that can run 4.7 40's, like the "poor schools" often do.

You are CHERRY PICKING one year to try to make a false statement. You really need to check your faulty GPS because on your field trips you are totally lost if you think these are "affluent". No rest needed, Crosby will win just by driving the bus into the parking lot. 99-0 Crosby.
