I don’t know any of y’all but I’m going to need BU fans to be better. Cussing and dogging out teenagers because they want to stand during their teams playoff game and cheer while sitting behind their own teams bench is a shame. I have no dog in the hunt but complaining constantly trying to get them to sit down or kicked out is just plain wrong. They were there cheering on their classmates. Then when they started losing, grown ass men and women BU fans acting a fool to kids….. shameful.

Two starters coming back, one’s a freshman and one’s a sophomore. 5 difference makers coming back from the bench. 3 sophmores and 2 juniors. Won’t be deep but top 5 or 6 should be solid.

Good season Longhorns.
Thanks! But I can’t help but feel like we left something on the table this year…
Barring any big injuries or move outs the next few years are very bright for this group. Earliest prediction ever, Horns win their district next year!!!

16-13 Hitchcock
Both teams with 6 fouls apiece in 1st quarter.
Refs letting both teams play pretty physical. I like it!

Interesting list, not sure what the criteria was but I'm guessing the following people who churned out pretty decent MLB careers, were pretty solid in high school.
Jason Grimsley - Tarkington - 15 years in the MLB
Lance Berkman - Canyon High - 15 years in the MLB
Andy Pettitte - Deer Park - 18 years in the MLB

I had saw that Danbury placed 3rd in that district and Hempstead 4th... Both of their records in district are way better than Brazos and Van Vleck.
That may be the girls standings you are looking at. Not sure but my source is Maxpreps.

Well I have to root for the Pirates now. Although I see them going up against Hitchcock in the first round not exactly a team that I would want to face right now. I can see our district handling theirs though 3-1 or we split it 2-2 because Tarkington and East Bernard is a toss up but New Waverly and Crockett will definitely handle Danbury and Hempstead.
unless you know something I don't know, below is what it looks like
Shepherd vs Hitchcock
Tarkington vs Van Vleck
New Waverly vs East Bernard
Crockett vs Brazos

Lol y'all been doing well for the last few years in basketball... We can't spare anymore players.
You are in a rebuilding phase. He would fit in really well with next years group. I mean if he’s leaving either way, I’m just saying…haha

That's exactly what is happening. After our state championship run and after the younger Lawniczak brother graduated the team just went down hill from there.
On top of all that, I wouldn’t be shocked if your one solid athlete didn’t find somewhere else to showcase his talent. If he needs help finding housing, I’d be more than happy to help him find his way to the prairie…😁😁

Head coach has been reassigned. According to sources, stemming from an incident in last game.
Team had been struggling of late. This was head coach first year.
Coldspring peeps, what's going on?
I can tell you this, it isn't stemming from anything that happened IN the last game. From my understanding though it is stemming from the locker room speech AFTER the game. The official word was that he was losing to teams that Coldspring has no business losing to. However, he doesn't have much to work with there and on top of that his second best player failed. I'm guessing the last coach left because he saw the writing on the wall with the younger groups coming up.
Well, my streak finally comes to an end

I'd love to see the games at Dickies arena in Ft Worth. Went to NCAA March Madness last year and that place is amazing. No bad seats in the house, fairly easy to get in and out of, good parking and it is really nice.
