Kevon’s mother posted on Facebook that he had a concussion and swelling and bleeding behind one eye that will require surgery next week. There was no bleeding on the brain and no bone fractures. They are giving him medication to help him sleep at night.   

Lumberton probably has a better shot than most people think. I think it’ll be a good game.

Now that you mentioned it I heard yours was gonna be outta work when onlyfans shuts down. 

I'm looking for improvement in this game, from what I have seen and been told, we are making to many mistakes.  I wanna see fight and effort no matter the score. This game is prep for District.
When you have a Successful Program within your Area and close classification, You should try to get them on your schedule. As old District foes, I'm glad we have Newton on the schedule for a real game, no matter the outcome.
I'll be there routing for my Son and my Eagles.

I still think Woodville is going to surprise a lot of people. It will take more than 2 scrimmages to get Offense to gel. But they better get it together quick. There is absolutely no excuse for all the stinking turnovers..!!! Players have get to hold on to the stinking ball and STOP throwing it to the other team. Defense has some work to do as well, defense looked just as horrible in this last scrimmage. They better stop people from scoring so much, they were getting ripped through like wet toilet paper.
Now as far as this game against Newton, I think Newton will be way too seasoned for this Woodville team. Woodville looks undisciplined right now. Seems like some of the players just do what they want to...? 1 thing I do agree with is that Woodville looked out of shape, and that comes from too many kids missing during the summer workouts.
Anyway... I think Newton will have too many seasoned players, from a prominent program with lots of game experience being in the fire. I hope I'm wrong, but I'll say Newton by 3 TD's. 

Mask are helpful although not 100% effective. How effective? IDK but it doesn’t hurt to wear one unless you have breathing issues or something. Vaccines aren’t 100% effective either and are causing allergic reactions for some folks. 

Wash hands frequently also. Hopefully schools are sanitizing classrooms and such much as possible.

Depends on how big the gap is between your top guy and the next guy in line. If your top guy isn’t much better then you probably want to keep fresh bodies on the field. If your top guy is much better even when fatigued then keep him on the field. 

Maybe nowadays.  But in my day if you couldn't run a sub 7 minute mile you didn't qualify for the team.  At least that was the rule in Tenaha. 

Oh I agree, one is the mental part.

Woodville vs Newton for me 

That was exhausting to read.  There are some obvious folks that would end up on the list due to (championships, winning %, 20/25 win years, etc.) no matter the reasons someone could come up with.  Athletes, schedule, whatever.. Yeah Sutherland, Joubert, and all those names would be there.  People can argue back and forth to no end but honestly, we’ll never know what would’ve happened if they were somewhere else or if someone was in their spot.  Who knows. Speculate away.
It’s simple for me.  If I’m handpicking a team and head coach, it’ll be Kevin Foster. Simply because I’ve seen him coach different types of teams with different styles that fit his team and/or competition.  I’m impressed.  Half court, full court, fast, slow, man, zone, junks, hybrids, motion offenses, sets, methodical inbound plays, etc.. He’s not in the least one dimensional and does it consistently successfully.  Plus, his players show up in a shirt/tie and don’t make a sound on or off the floor.  At least that’s what I noticed the times that I saw them.
Top 10 makes no difference to me.  In SeTx, I’d go with Foster as my current coach. 

Newton doesn’t have a Carthage in their division so I would say Newton

Yep. They were in our district for 18 though. 

Everyone can hopscotch around the issues, but history shows, when they closed down the mental hospitals in this country, it has caused a snowball effect of mental and drug abuse patients with no where to go...

For starters, not government or state funding to these organizations that pass out water and food.  Perhaps mor finding for more homeless shelters.  Homeless shelters with programs in place to get these people jobs and a real shot at a somewhat normal life besides living in tents and panhandling/begging.  Easier said than done, but it’s a start…
