I know Scott was out, but folks don’t forget PNG’s two biggest o-lineman (Garth and Burt) were out and been without Deslatte at RB for weeks.
Here’s good news...Defense has stepped up big recently, Deslatte was in uniform could be in game next week as was Burt.

As stated above, Willowridge plays Sterling tomorrow. Sterling W means PNG vs Willowridge and Ned vs Sterling. Willowridge W means PNG vs Northside and Ned vs Willowridge.
I’d be shocked if Sterling beat Willowridge.

Not true. It’s district record that determines playoff entrants not overall record. Pre-district means nothing. So top two just means less watered down. But it’s a moot point because there is no way in hell the UIL is going to drop a boat load of playoff games. Money talks folks.

This year, PNG has an amazing talent at QB, but he is no Dustin Long in IMO. Your defense is suspect and Nederland's ball control should prevail. Our defense is very consistent and should key on Shug. He can have 500 yards rushing between the 20s for all I care. He will get his but it will be tough.
I am a UT fan and can't wait to see him in burnt orange. Until then, he is the enemy for one week.
I say Ned 30-21.
Wortham was the lead back that year. Not saying makeup of teams is the same, just that situations are similar. And Long was an excellent QB, but I’ve seen them both for their entire HS careers, RJ is a better QB. More polished passer and a much bigger run threat. RJ grew up in an erra where there are more QB development camps and opportunities to become great if you have the skills.
Difference is Long had a great team around him. Excellent stable of WRs. Two good backs, and a stellar line. And a stingy defense to boot. Interchange RJ and Long on that squad and PNG beats SVille.

PNG runs a lot of read option. That being the case, the real question is not why Shug toted it 36 times, but why BH allowed him to?

RJ went out late in that game. Fourth Q. It was already over by then. And he went out in part because he was getting hammered. Probably our poorest line play in years in that game, but alot of credit for that goes to Sweat and co.

If Crosby sticks to the running game that picks up 6ypc they can beat Nederland, but if big ned shuts that down the bulldog secendary will wreck havoc on Code Red QB if forced into passing alot.
Crosby gets pass happy when they don’t need to be. They whip us if they stick to the run. Trust me, and the Code Red fans will agree, it wasn’t an ipad that lost them our game. It was coach getting away from the running game that was killing us and for no good reason.

Huntsville defense shut PNG out. Only team that has just flat shut the ndns down in the three years with RJ at helm. They were in the backfield all night long. Very impressive
If they had a little more on the offensive side, they’d play at Jerry World in 2018.
PNG. will struggle with dual threat qb like FB Marshall.

That defense just gave up 7 points and just over 200 yards to one of the better offenses in the district. And did it without an ipad, but I here they did use a stone tablet and chisel set in the booth.

Agreed. But punish the arrogantcoach/coaches not the kids. Thats the bad part everytime something like this occurs the kids that put in the blood sweat and tears suffer for the arrogance of so called adults.
Either way its over. Moving on. Like I said earlier, gave up 40 ppg most of the year, then last Friday night against SF and clearly now for sure without an ipad around, gave up 7. Whatever we were or weren’t doing with the infamous ipad is wasn’t working! lol

So the picture posted on here is not of the infamous ipad. Its of a monitor in the box showing the live feed as I expected. FAKE NEWS.
This gives credence to BF saying it wasn’t utilized, just in the box. Take the punishment and move on now.

I’m far from a snowflake. Trust me. I think Myers should have been fired. He’s a lying ass. But he didn’t CHEAT the game as I pointed out.
If the PNG coaches made a mistake or even did it intentionally then I’m ok with admitting it and taking punishment (apologizing to the kids) and moving on, but if BF lied about not actually using it, then we have a bigger problem!

You can be an ass or a standup guy, but I never insinuated such. I simply asked if they had a monitor showing the game in coaches boothes. If you go to a PNG game there are monitors at the concession stands showing the live feed, but you, I or anyone else for that matter can do anything with the image other than turn it on or off.
Crosby’s box is way up there. I can see a live feed monitor in each box for the coaches to get a decent view of the field.
And again I ask only because I find it hard to believe that the screen in the picture posted is that of a monster sized tablet. I think the infraction was actually not shown in the picture posted.
