I find this alignment season to be very suspect. Do you think Liberty Hill had something to do with it? I've heard ppl say that. But they're out so.. If what you say is true then too bad for them
No. If LH had any say in realignment then they sure as hell would not have put themselves in Reg 3! They had a cake walk in Reg 4.

Yeah the district alignment is another separate issue, but I can understand the challenge in trying to make even districts with new schools and population changes across the state.
All of district 8 should have been in region 3, and the Waco district 10 should have been in region 2.
Good call…UIL never took into consideration the lack of stadiums in East Tx when placing Dist 8 in R2. Waco District could meet the rest of R2 in DFW area each week where there are plenty of venues.

I can't believe on a Thursday that is going to be hard for folks that work on Friday.
Earlier start and closer than half our district games. Our other sports travel to HVille, Montgomery and New Caney for 7pm games on Tuesdays so…

I think that the Ned turning point this season was the WOS game. Then tonight they really turned the corner.
BTW, I think the turning point for PNG's defense this season was the end-of-game sack of MLC's QB by #35.
MLC has been providing lots of turning points for district foes this season it seems.
PNG was after the MLC game when Coach McDaniel was able to be back on the sidelines. Different D since.

Folks keep talking about the LC QB and WR, but they got a 5’10” 210lb rb that seeks out contact!

Just ask Cleveland. They didn’t bring their A game and lost 70-10 to Splendora. You just never know.
Splendora was the worst team in 4A last year but for perspective Cleveland is quite possibly the worst football team in America! Paying for the sins of Colony Ridge development!

Home cooking time management doesn’t surprise me with WOS

Got a lot to work on but that’s ok. Tools are there. Klein Oak has 3700 students to choose from that’s a three class step up to 6A1. They had some studs. Good first week opponent. Tough win.

52-13 end of 3 is the biggest surprise. We all know at that point Mag was in sub mode. Mag is new to 6A and just barely in there enrollment wise. Shouldn’t have been a big step up but….Shocked.

I agree. The Pro Set offense, Huddle, TE, FB, power I, play action, roll out passing game has worked quite well For Katy the last 30 years.
Works for Katy because they have huge linemen. Power only works if you have Power and if you don’t adjust to your physical strengths you will fail. Neuman was great at adjusting to his talent each year.
Nederland will not succeed right now with a power I.
they need to get #1 the ball in space. He Good.- bullets13, mojo03 and PN-G bamatex

Generally speaking yes it's not done on purpose to give that competitive advantage it's more for clout on Instagram in hype videos etc
Looked at 2022 pics and a few had purple gloves on and we wore white SOC in all black. None of the SOC kids had on white gloves. So gives credence to a disrespect vs in game advantage reasoning. Pretty stupid but….

Avg margin of victory 27.5 points
Do they change which regions play semis every year?
Maybe we need that back to back bump up rule in place. Although every team going for their 3rd lost.
Or maybe it has more to do with the travel. Notice outside of PNG it was all DFW area or teams that had less than two hours of travel that won. And PNG came up the day before. Those kids said last year they were worn out by the time the game started from being up early and a 6 hour bus ride. This game should rotate between Alamodome, NRG and Jerry world.

This shows Todds ignorance in the situation. The Field Judge threw the PI flag. The guy that is from Nederland and lives in PN was the Line Judge. Oh and the PI was proven legit.
And furthermore Todd agreed to the crew. Done. Finished. Take some accountability for your team being out coached. Apologize to those kids for your lack of preparation. Can’t tackle the guy one on one yet #21 Green caught Zero passes. Thats on the Legendary Todd. -

Didnt say there was a rule said why isnt there one. I know my daughter plays softball and there are rules , at least in some sanctions not sure about all of the, against having yellow in the uniform shirt so thT it doesnt hinder the batter seeing the ball.
Thats for safety reasons. A bright yellow ball being hurled at your head from 42 feet at 60+ mph is very different than a hold on a jersey.
Until UIL makes it illegal then it’s up to the opposing coaches to make sure the crew calling the game is aware. It could actually backfire if a crew really cracks down on what the gloves are actually being used for.
