From a selfish fan standpoint, it’s fun to be at games when the stadium is full. Last season, after realignment, it seemed that there were local games that left something to be desired in the energy department. BMT vs PA vs Mid County delivers the goods That being said, bigger competition at 6A benefits WB and BU

Would be nice to see PA, Mid County schools and both Beaumont schools all have each other on the schedule. Would make for some packed stadiums and good “atmosphere”.

They also have way better facilities than almost any program in SETX regardless of classification and pay scale is closer to that of Houston than the Golden Triangle. Much easier to recruit coaches to come work for you when that’s the case. Having good relationships with those guys is the cherry on top.

And an administration that wants the same

It could be a really good job of the admin would give the kids and coaches what they need to compete. Seems to be in a constant state of flux and inconsistency. I said before that place could be special given the right circumstances
