Yah they definitely need an outsider that is unbiased and will play the best man at each position based on his own judgement. 

The U will not be successful until they find a hard nose coach that knows what he's doing. He has to have some sort of winning back ground and a niche for getting kids to buy in to what he's trying to as well as teaching the team to be disciplined.

Possible "punishments" are as follows...
1) Private reprimand; 2) Public reprimand; 3) Forfeiture; 4) Disqualification
With the lack of facts so much speculation, I agree with BamaTex that the punishment was too harsh. Plenty of schools have received far less for far worse. 
 

The only argument for Fernandez being the starter that I've heard is 
1. He's tough and has grit.
2. He's a senior.
3. He does what the coach asks. 
True True and True, but why does that make him the better choice for quarterback? It looks to me like yall know chorizo and don't want to say anything negative about the situation. Your right though, time will tell. It just sucks for the kids that Barrow is satisfied with a couple play off wins and coming home. An I'm not even saying that it would be a forsure thing that they go deep if #1 started, my argument is that he is able to do more with his arm! Which gives another demension to the offense. Which takes some pressure off of the badass running game. Which leads to a more productive offense. They don't need Fernandez running the ball because they have two running backs that can do more than he can with their eyes closed.

If In fact the videos were being used to analyze in game formations the it hands down affected the game. This game came down to seconds on the clock. It can be argued that the advantage of being able to do that directly affected the outcome. If this is true I agree that they should have to forfeit the win. Now as for other games I don't think it affected as much because they weren't close. 

Understood and agreed. As long as it wasn't used for in game adjustments. With that said, Faircloth is quoted in the Port Arthur news saying the iPad wasn't being used to video the game.

I know the district is a very competitive district, and it has been a fun season to keep up with. With that said, what are the playoff expectations for our south east Texas teams. Everyone wants to win state, but realistically can you expect anyone from around here get further than the 3rd round?

This isn’t the NFL.
 I understand the rule on the high school level.  Rich school districts would have entire video teams going over film during the game and relaying to coaches, which would be a huge advantage.  

That’s fair, game came down to the last possession so using any illegal video could have well factored into their win.
