Funny that we're praising the coaches now, when some 'loyal Tiger fans' have been wanting the Silsbee coaching staff's had on a plate all year...

I found two details shocking. First, this wasn't like Suh stepping over the O-lineman and "accidentally" stepping on him. This kid was several feet (if not yards) away from the scene of the crime and had to walk over with the sole purpose of hurting his opponent, who was defenseless. Second, his attack did not seem like a choice made hastily in the heat of battle. It was so calculatedly quiet and subtle that the refs just feet away didn'teven notice.
 I am all for giving the kid options. A harsher punishment - an extended suspension or even removal from the team - or a less severe (but still tough) penalty in exchange for a public show of contrition - maybe an open letter or statement of apology and some form of community service. A show of humility. Let him choose.

Only problem for the players is Coach T's "reminding" is brutal. Lmao!!!!!!! 

My pet peeve is the large number of fans showing up after the game starts.  Stand in the aisle and take their time picking their seats, while I'm trying to look around/between them to see the game.  

Congratulations to Jack!!!  Now I can pull for him on Saturdays instead of just the High School playoffs!!  Great catch LU !!!
 

Imo, they're doing a much improved job of local recruiting than they use to.  Hope they get even better with it.  I'm 99% sure it would boost attendance.

AT&T Stadium makes it very comfortable for fans and teams. NRG is nice but their folks were not nearly as accomodating as AT&T's.  I was hoping NRG would have made a better impression on me.  I wish more Houston area fans had been there.  Big drop off from AT&T.
 

Ok. I understand the reason for rotating sites BUT other than proximity in my opinion NRG didn't have the welcoming environment of AT&T. AT&T has more bells and whistles.

Very true, but rotation would be nice to see for the average fan of Tx HS football in regards to travel.
It also lets me know who gonna actually show up to watch football that particular weekend too when it comes to the money aspect of it for the UIL, the Houston Area HS football fans didn't show up last year other than the fans of actual teams that made it to state from around there mostly, plus the other participants for example: Canadian.
In the DFW they all gonna pile into Jerrah's World regardless of who's there. 

I don't think anybody really needs that kind of stuff right now.  Good luck this evening.

Game Day, with all the off field issues I know this game will be getting much attention but not for the football. Go Stangs!!!

BC is a class school with class football program and coach, please to not let one person cause rot to begin on what has been a great series and a great game for all involved. Praying for safe travel and good sportsmanship on both sides.

I bet it would at BH if the coach was the superintends kid. 

I hope the Superintendent of Barbers Hill ISD has learned the perils of social media.  That being said, I hope none of the BHISD students are ever held accountable by the administration for any social media posts they make.  As a retired teacher/coach, my 8th graders were constantly warned of writing/typing/posting anything they would not want the whole world to see (including their future children!)  If the BH ISD board lets this ride, it is on them.  Kudos to the BH Drum Major!  She represents the district very well with class.  Too many good folks over there to be led by a hair-trigger sup.

It probably never rained back then.  I do remember it snowing a lot and having to walk uphill both ways to school.
