Tiger defensive line played better last night but the "big plays" hurt them a lot....hopefully that will get better with practice....Now to the offensive side of the ball....O line needs to block better,last night when they blocked and opened holes the offense clicked...missed assignments and not holding blocks needs work...way too many dropped passes,saw at least 3 potential touchdowns dropped....2 touchdowns called back for penalties.....saw in earlier comments that Silsbee is a spread offense,well the offense looked good with the new scheme when everything was blocked right....now to my personal opinion: I think the Tigers need to distribute the ball to more than 1 back and 1 wide receiver.....how can these other backs and receivers get in the flow of the game when they know if it's a run play called,it's going to Tyler...when a pass is called it's going to Barnes......you win as a team,lose as a team.....other players need to be involved......I also don't like the process of when a player makes a mistake you take him out of the game...if he is your starter,he's starting for a reason.....coach him up to do better next time....The Tigers will be ok by district time....I beleive in the Tigers,guess i'm just LOYAL....

Well,I have read all the comments about Silsbee offense and defense....I truly beleive the coaching staff is trying different things to see what works and are evaluating players to just see what they have to work with.....Non-district games are just that (games to get better before district)....I will not throw the coaches under the bus because of 1 game....We will get better as time goes on,beleive that...it isn't easy to come in as a new coach and immediately take up where the last regime left off....Tiger fans are "spoiled"...this is an entirely different team from last year....we will get better as long as we support the team and coaches .....

Time for the Tigers to bring home their 1st state title......We are the last SE Texas team still standing and will show why we are the #1 team in the state of Texas...GO TIGERS

I have been reading posts about Levelland and I am hopeful Silsbee wins the title,but I am also wary of this team..they had to play well enough to make it to San Antonio.....Once you make it to the tourney there are no slouches in the Final Four....Silsbee will need to (IMO) play their style of basketball and they will come away with a WIN.....Get that 1st win and we'll worry about Saturday @ 7pm when it gets here. GO TIGERS

Went on MaxPreps to check on Levelland....not much info....does anyone know anything about their style of play? Slow down or up tempo?..Can they run with Silsbee....Do they go deep into their bench? Questions..Questions...

Just made it home from Huntsville....Congratulations to the entire Tiger team....The games you just won in Huntsville have prepared you for the task awaiting you in San Antonio....Bring home the State Title.....will be there cheering you on in the Alamodome...

BADSANTA.I watched the game between Elkins & Central....Ozen can beat Elkins if they pressure them on defense,guards will get excited and make some turnovers....If Central would have started pressing them sooner they would have had a better chance to win the game.

Depth for Hudson will be a problem....went on MaxPreps and roster says they only suit up 9 players

When leaving the game Friday after Silsbee beat Furr,some guys(from Furr) were talking about Sterling-Silsbee rematch saying they hope Sterling sends Silsbee home again....might have been sour grapes,so I am urging the Tiger faithful to come out and support our Tigers Tuesday in Channelview...take one game at a time....GO TIGERS
