Everything is shifting because El Paso lost a district....the state is a big puzzle...if El Paso still had their own district I think District 8 would be in Region III, but everything has shifted with one less district to work with....District 11 makes more sense to be paired with District 12 for me....

yes Lufkin has been w/College Station and A&M Consolidated before but A&M and C-State are shifted west to fill out two Austin districts...there was only one true Austin district last time now there's two with Anderson/Weiss moving down to D1 and Rouse moving up to D1...Lehman and Hays shift north out of north San Antonio back to Austin due to movement down there...

The extra Austin district comes from El Paso losing a district...lots of moving parts..you absolutely could put district 11 into Region II and move district 8 to Region III, but since this is my mock realignment and I'm going off what I believe the UIL will do this is what I think will happen...

I'm retired and I wish I could be in Austin to help with their map reading........

And since it's yours, imma blame you too if we end up in Reg 2 opposite the new district of dealth.......

DeSoto is likely not opting up....Padilla and I both believe they will play in 5A (which is where I have them)....district 11 in my mock makes a better bi-district fit in Region III with the other Austin area district IMO

Okay, since Desoto isn't opting up, that's cool.  But why not put one of those Austin/Temple/Waco districts in Reg 2 and put us(PA and Bmt) back in region 3?  That should;ve happend last time but people at the UIL can't seem to be able to read a map.....

And, I was told Lufkin use to play the College Station schools so either keep them in Dist 7 or let them cross I-45 and play over there.  A six team district in the Golden Triangle would be ok for the next 2 years

  3. Per Dave Campbell:

    Dist 7 5A-D1

    Red Oak

    Highland Park

    JT

    DeSoto

    N. Mesquite

    W. Mesquite

    Midlothian

    Dist 8 😑

    Some reflections......

Thank Zues Desoto is opting up and I like this district but again, wrong region.  8 and 11 could be swapped easily for those with a subscription

I totally understand. My comment was to respond to the comment from @Austin1985 "1st order of business:  change the priority from baseball to football..... "

Wouldn't you rather say "1st order of business:  change the priority from solely baseball to football, baseball and any other sport you want success in.....

It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

And, to clarify, these are the things I heard toward the end of my tenure inside of 25th and Savanna in PA.  Because, back in the 90's, BC was a fixture in the playoffs.......

Then I was told, priorities were switched and now here they are

What does United and West Brook bring? WB has a history 30 years ago, United hasn’t done anything. Both were in a super tough district, but just because they dropping down don’t mean anything. The district is going to look a lot different. I’ll wait and see what it looks like before commenting further.

I know WB has the QB coming back for sure and my theory of having '6A speed' will be put to the test when they drop.  I know United are losing those two big tackles, but other than that, I don't know.  PA will have the edge on both because our middle schools play theirs but both programs will welcome the change

Where’s the lie??? BH probably the only real team that’s consistent. PAM has horrible coaching and played from behind IN EVERY GAME MINUS GCM. In some cases not the whole game but struggled in the first qtr against the likes of sterling and lee. PAM are frauds and that’s on coaches. LP u never know what u gonna get. They use to be solid every year. Gotta sit and wait if they are for real.

Guess what genius(I wanna use another term with all that u've been doing throughout the year) the $5 dollar injuns asked TJ graduate, Todd Dodge, to help them in the coaching search.  So, you hate TJ grads and I told you there are no lincoln grads that are willing to come back home to coach PA.  Also, starting slow and winning means the halftime adjustments worked, and the kids were physically and mentally in shape to execute those adjustments.  I will stand on that you don't know how to watch football but anyway......

Where did all the talent come from for Willis?  They haven’t had a winning season since 2016, but all of a sudden they’re 12-0 with 10 D1 players?

While looking at the QB, other players got looks as well.  I hope they all go D1
