Is Bost still considered to be the second coming of Roschon ? Just curious if some still believe this

Bost is a more well rounded QB than Roschon.  If the receivers could catch the 50% he would be setting records.  He will be a great college QB any power 5 passing on him will be crazy.  College receivers will catch the balls he throws.  Roschon was just a running back that throws sometimes.  SHUG was good but Bost is better at QB.

if that's all that matters to your season, then congrats and enjoy watching the playoffs from the couch...you are telling me that if png was 1-9 with the lone win being over Nederland every year that you would be ok?

keep in mind that you were a QB injury to nederland away from this week being irrelevant and already being out of the playoffs...

    We would have WON anyway.

I hear all of you about the defense, tackling drills, etc. But holding Nederland and that running back to 1 touchdown in the second half??? To me that was huge! Too many penalties on offense that kept pushing us back and kept us from scoring, then we missed the field goal. Anyway I am proud of our defense and I see them getting better every week.

Nederland is not that good.  I wouldn't put too much stock in stopping that offense.  We should have beat Nederland by 20.

lumberton coaches need to sit down and try to figure out why they are so bad. Are they not teaching fundamentals, is the new offense too complicated, are they playing the wrong personnel, is it a lack of talent?  Hopefully they can figure it out.  After that they need to meet with the team and try and find out why they won’t compete.  I know Silsbee has much more talent than Lumberton, but this score is ridiculous

Maybe they can drop down to a lower classification.😄

I wish nothing but good things for the Deweyville Pirates this year and I fully expect the Vidor Pirates to win their first outright DC since the ‘70s I believe. (We were co-district champs a few years ago in a three way tie.) We have 6 returning starters on offense and 6 returning starters on defense, all Seniors who can play ball. I have been hearing great things about the underclassmen who are stepping up to fill holes. If we get good play from the new players at the Linebacker and Running Back positions then watch out, we might make some noise in the playoffs.

Correction: 1 returning starter on offense OL and 1 returning starter on defense DL will be Juniors but they are both big ole studs.

    Lets put it on Lumberton.

I’m not commenting one way or another on his skills, but no need to call out a kid like that on here. Talking bad about the team as a whole or their coaching is one thing, but c’mon man, don’t act like a punk.

No disrespect, I have watched him play since he was little.  He just cracks me up with his on field antics.  Very good athlete.

Honestly I see it this way. Boykin is gonna do his thing. And Lumberton always seems to give us tough games no matter what their record is. Hh is gonna do its thing but I see them being 3rd. I see the number 1 spot being decided in the Vidor Lumberton game. Boykin vs conn and root. Gonna be good for sure. I know Vincent is looking forward to introducing himself to Boykin. (Old school reference for all y’all age challenged folks)

    Boykin  HaHa

And my pawpaw just told me to tell you IH-10 Vidor-0 😂

My momma said Lumberton needs to drop down to 2A to make it out of the 3rd round.  What does I-10 have to do with anything?    Also Crocodiles are honory because they have all them teeth and no tooth brush to keep them clean.
