Vidor public address announcer, you the real MVP. 
If PNG loses this game it’s because of the PA announcer and tow trucks.
If Vidor loses its because of Mother Nature and the lack of a band.

I guess that wasn’t politically correct! Maybe he should have tweeted it! Who cares, the Ref  needs to do his job correctly! 

It’s a shame that such a good ballgame has been delayed and reduced to disparaging remarks.   Hope the kids get to finish.

So you’re upset that the PA announcer corrected the officials mistake?  He made things right and you don’t want it to be right?  In this age of instant replays in almost every sport, this is a small thing, but a correct one.   You may complain, but it’s still right.

Wow, sounds like some PNG fans are losing their cool.  Kind of surprising, they used to be fairly classy.  Times change.

If you’re at the game and have went to your car, the players are coming back out shortly. Will play the 30 seconds left then we will roll into the 3rd qtr and skip halftime.

Anyone breaking out Champagne now has never seen a PNG/Vidor game.  

Do any of the Indians comment during the games or just talk crap and make wild predictions before? Awfully quiet around here.

I will have to say there are a couple other schools in our district that suck when it comes to parking. I am not going to mention that it’s PNG and Nederland! 😁

Not an upset; this game was much closer than the score. If you were there, you know what I am talking about. This young team will be dangerous after the open week. By then, the full offense will be in. Young players will be contributing toward wins, instead of standing on the sideline. All of this will help them to deal with sudden change. (Special formations and personnel group are coming.) Don't sleep on these guys; they are changing the culture.

Nice.  I think I like the dark/light contrast on the the field every 5 yards.

I have been told from an individual who works there, and in the athletics department, that it will be done by then.

Not just the football field getting a new look. 

Nope. I do not use or surround myself with people who use the "N' word. I do not like my students using the "N' word. My children do not use the "N" word.
I did grow up in a time where the usage of that word was acceptable and commonplace. Times change and thankfully people change. No one should be using that word. Period.
There are always two sides to every story: In between lies the truth.

You can say anything in a petition... doesn't make it a fact.  
But the charges of financial impropriety, IF TRUE (and they probably are), then the plaintiff would appear to be in the right. 
I have a bigger problem with the charges of racism.  Seriously.... when's the last time a "person of color" was removed from their duties when "racism" wasn't charged?  Fire a white dude for being an all-around waste of time and money and it's over.  If you fire a black dude you'll face claims of racism... whether the guy was a waste of time and money or not.  Do you know that people were actually trying to sue Dupont when they closed the Beaumont works on grounds that the terminations were racially motivated?  EVERYBODY lost their jobs, but one "protected class" lined up to beat that dead horse.  You'd have to be be blind to think that those things aren't considered at hiring time. 
I'll go one further... It's 2019, and nobody should be using the N-word.  NOBODY.  If you have a problem with a 59 year old white guy using that word, but no problem being called that (or calling people that yourself) by your friends.... let's be honest.  You don't have problem with the word, you have a problem with white people. 
All that being said, it sounds like the TASO is running wild.  Or at least as wild as you can with a $100k a year in dues.  I hope the plaintiff prevails if his pleadings are true. 
 
 

Can't wait to see the finished product... 

Supposed to start sometime after school let out and be finished before they return to school in August.  So, lots of time to work with, but no clue if they've started yet or not. 
I was just at the High School earlier but didn't even think about driving back there to see if they are working yet or not. 

With a vote of 5-1,  Vidor ISD School Board Trustees voted yes for the Turf. Construction to start in May and be completed by August weather permitting.

I’ve supported bonds in the past. The last one failed in my opinion because it didn’t address needs at all the schools, just focused on a new high school. That’s a good question on what it will take to pass a bond. Am not against the turf, but I want to see the needs of each campus addressed. 

That is correct.
In a perfect world I am sure the could happen.  But we know it's not. In talking with a few teachers that I know personally, they'll tell you yes, it stinks to be in portables, but they also know it will break our district to pay for the two schools vs just waiting and letting FEMA foot the bill. Most of the parents of kids in those buildings are not complaining either, as they understand the process too. 

Vidor fans have to be proud of these kids.  Outmanned, outgunned, But rarely out of the game.  Even with the adversity of heartbreaking losses and injuries, there aren’t many in the District would want to play them again.  My hats off to the Pirates and Coach Matthews.
